- Overall, today's trip to Mutianyu Great Wall was very enjoyable. Although there was some light rain in the morning, the temperature was a bit cool, and it still felt quite comfortable. Then, when we were climbing the Great Wall, the sun came out in the afternoon, and the weather began to clear up, making it very convenient for taking photos and climbing the wall. In addition, the spectacular scenery of the Great Wall was very impressive. There were not many people on the Great Wall, so we took a lot of photos and had a really great time. When we returned to Mubus, our guide, Mr. John, welcomed us with warm smile, gave us the return tickets, and was very warm to us. On the way to the Great Wall, he also told us some history, gave guidance on climbing the wall, and helped with purchasing relevant tickets. The Mubus waiting hall was also neatly arranged, with tea, various snacks and so on. It was very thoughtful!

No doubts. Perfect day at The Great Wall. - If you have the time, no doubt. Mutianyu great Wall is an amazing area to explore. And it was even better with Mike's advice. He knows the place and how to enjoy it, so follow his suggestions 100%. We did it and the experience was perfect. East Side, west side, cable chair, slider, buffet... Everything was perfect to enjoy the day around the Great Wall. The whole experience was smooth: booking, getting the info, meet at the pick-up point, getting there, etc. Mike explained a bit the Great Wall's history and it was very inspiring. Good mix of fun and serious stuff to understand the value of the place for the country. I totally recommend this experience.

Fantastic tour with Mr Mike! - I went on the 8am tour to the Great Wall. The experience was smooth, educational and fun! The buss to the Wall was modern, the Mubus facilities were great and the lunch they offer is excellent. Mr Mike was a great guide for the group, and gave us a lot of great practical advice. Truly enjoyed it!

- The meetup point is easily reached with metro line 2. Our guide for the day, John, was helpful and explained clearly what to expect at the Great Wall and further gave interesting historical background information on its construction. Mubus staff helped make sure any additional questions were answered and speaks English, Mandarin as well as Spanish. I visited the eastern section on a Monday and it was a bit busy causing long lines as some attractions in Beijing were closed. Overall a very positive experience.

- I reached out to our guide before the trip to inquire about cable car prices. I wanted to ensure I had the appropriate amount of cash because my AliPay did not consistently work. They refused to provide the requested information, and would only say that more details would be provided on the bus. The tour started with no access to toilets prior to our 1.5 hour ride. I inquired about lavatory access and was ushered onto the bus at approximately 7:40 am. We departed at 7:49. Surely there were some nearby facilities that could be accessed prior to such a long ride. We received about 15 minutes of information about the Great Wall while we were enroute, then the guide gave everyone the opportunity to purchase cable car access. When we arrived at the MuBus facility, we were basically told when to return and sent on our way. No guides accompanied us to the wall itself, we weren't provided with a map. This is mostly a self-guided tour. Lunch was very good and the bus was comfortable. Some of the other MuBus employees seemed great and concerned about the well-being of their guests, but I didn't have the best experience with this one. At the end of the day, the guide approached me and sent a pre-crafted review to copy and paste. I don't like having words put in my mouth under any circumstance, but especially resented it considering the experience I had. It wasn't terrible. Honestly, the ride and meal were worth the cost, but don't expect much more than that. I booked a different tour with MuBus and had an amazing experience, but wasn't impressed by the Great Wall guide. I would book again, but would be prepared going in. Do your own research, don't expect anything from your guide. Please don't let them bully you into leaving a fake review.
