Flying from Dar er salaam airport to Kigoma Airport

Kigoma Region - Taking flight from Dar er salaam airport at 10:00morning for two hours and you will arrived in Kigema aiport at 13:00hrs, your driver guide will be ready to take you to Tibirizi port to the second deepest fresh water lake in the world lake Tanganyika.

You will be enjoying the landscape of the Kigoma by wooden boat toward Gombe National park where you will be staying at Kasekela tented camp, with your own private chef, you will start with checking in and having lunch. Briefing about the Chimpanzees and ready for hiking looking for chimpanzees. You will be walking in the deep green forest, enjoying nature and getting information about chimpanzees’ life and family. This will take about two to three hours before heading back to the lodge for swimming and dinner and evening rest.

Lake Tanganyika - On 08h30, Start Chimpanzee tracking in the forest, Gombe became well known for the conservation project started from Jane Goodall, who first arrived in Gombe in 1960. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests, like velvet, Colobus monkeys and baboons, Climb to Jane’s peak and visit Kakombe waterfalls if time allows.
