Viña de mar and Valparaíso wonderful place - Amazing places, great for taking photos, great transfer, polite guide. He knows a lot about local culture. Gentil

Great tour enroute from Valparaiso to Santiago - We were picked up in Valparaiso by driver Rafael and tour guide Maria and received a great tour enroute to our hotel in Santiago. Our first stop in Valparaiso was Pablo Neruda's house La Sebastiana, then continued on and took the funicular up Cerro Panteon with Maria. Gorgeous views from the top, and she walked us around the maze of streets, explaining the murals and art scene. Fortunately she knew the way and we met up with Rafael in Cerro Concepcion. Then drove to Vina del Mar and saw the Flower Clock, and the "moai" statue. As a special request, we then drove to the local football stadium. We proceeded to the Casablanca winery region and had an excellent lunch at Casas del Bosque before being dropped at our hotel in downtown Santiago. Great tour with Rafael and Maria, learned a lot and enjoyed our day very much.

A fantastic day with rose - Our guide Rose without a doubt the best guide we have ever had in our over 30 cruises with many excursions. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with to the point my wife and friends wanted to take her home with them

Best way from cruise to airport - Sergio was on time, waiting for us in the port terminal. He was a pleasure to spend the day with as he showed us the best of Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. His English is excellent, he’s conscientious and he loves his job and the areas he took us too. Arturo, the driver, is safe, skilled and jovial. This was SO much better than the cruise line’s group tour and transport to the airport.

Poor tour organization. It's not 10 hours! - The very friendly, trained and collaborating guide. However, the tour organization is not good. Valparaiso is very messy. They take you to Viña only 90 minutes and to a restaurant chosen by the guide, there are excellent restaurants on the beach.

Major Disappointment - We booked this tour months in advance of our trip, and were in contact with the Tour Operator via WhatsApp providing very detailed information about our cruise disembarkation. Our Tour Guide lacked the knowledge, experience, and language skills of a professional. She showed up at the meeting point late and without a sign to help us find her. Up until her phone battery failed less than an hour into the tour, she was constantly using her mobile phone to find her way. Then she was repeatedly asking people on the street for directions as we walked in Valparaiso. She could not speak two sentences without stopping because she did not know the English word she wanted to say. We walked to a place to see gardens and a scenic overlook only to discover the museum would not be open in more than an hour. We were left alone to take pictures after a funicular ride and she did not return for more than 15 minutes chastising us for disappearing when we had absolutely no idea where she went. We had booked this tour with a stop for lunch (cost on our own). The restaurant she brought us to had a very limited menu. We were ready to depart at the time discussed when we arrived. However, the tour guide and driver made us wait an additional 15 minutes. The guide and driver spent nearly the entire drive from Vina del Mar to Santiago conversing among themselves in Spanish without providing us with any information about the region. The vehicle was comfortable; however, only the driver and tour guide had windows that could open, and we were locked into the back of the van where the driver had to unlock the door at each stop. I am assuming this was for security reasons. We had scheduled this tour for 4 people several months in advance and confirmed 4 weeks prior to the trip when we heard there were wildfires in the area. This was a lost opportunity, and major disappointment, as this was more than likely our one and only opportunity to visit Valparaiso and Vina del Mar.
