Fantastic tour, great guide and value for money. - Jose could not have been more accommodating throughout. On the way to and from Chichen Itza he offered to stop for refreshments multiple times. Jose’s local and historical knowledge is fantastic, he was happy to explain whatever we asked. His English is excellent, he is very professional and good company, we both felt relaxed as soon as we met him. We chose a private tour (we were the only guests) and although it more expensive than other large group tours, it is well worth the money, if you are looking for a fun, bespoke and informative tour with an excellent guide/driver, we would highly recommend Jose and this tour (the Tequila distillery was a lovely added extra). Thank you Jose.

Locos tours are amazing! Simply the best! - Locos Tours are the absolute best! Nice, fun, knowledgable, and helpful! They were on time for pickup and always mindful of the time during the day. Showed us the history behind all we saw during the day. Recommended good and authentic places where to eat and drink and shop. They were always very attentive of us and willing to help guide us to any other place we were interested in. Always felt very safe with them. Overall I’m extremely happy with their service and very grateful we chose them because our trip was an amazing experience thanks to their excellent service!!

This is your ONE-STOP-SHOP to experience the real PDC - Jose and Esaú are literal angels on earth!! They are both extremely customer-centric, knowledgeable and just good vibes! They made sure my friends and I (a group of 6 gals celebrating our 30th birthday) had a great time and made us feel completely safe! Not only did we have the most amazing time on this tour but Jose also helped me plan logistics and restaurant reservations. There's literally nothing he can't do!! WOW JUST WOW!!! - Don't know where to begin. A 100 character review will not do this experience justice. **short review** If you're looking for a FANTASTIC time, GREAT food and an UNFORGETTABLE experience this is your ONE-STOP-SHOP. Jose says he's only been doing this on his own for 6 years, once you speak with him you'll feel like he's been doing this for 100 years. There's literally not a thing he doesn't know or can't do. And if that were the case believe me he will research and surprise you. He's extremely knowledgeable and passionate about is vocation (cuz I can't say its his job, he was BORN for this- buy this tour and you'll know what I mean). **Story time** I'm pretty easy going yet, at times, a little skeptical when I plan trips- I usually travel solo. But this was the first time I planned a trip for a group of 6 completely different personalities, who haven't travelled internationally in a long time and that I have the privilege to call my best friends. So naturally I was a little anxious. Then as I stumbled upon a million tours, Locos Tours popped up and instantly felt like this was the one tour that would satisfy the needs of my diverse group of gals on our 30th birthday trip! Since the minute I booked the tour Jose immediately reached out introducing himself and also offering much needed insight on pre-travel and what other activities he recommends. It felt as if I was speaking to a longtime friend. GODSEND! He was EXTREMELY helpful and is 100% customer-centric. He said he was gonna make me fall in love with Playa del Carmen and just Mayan-Culture in general, and I'm telling you he DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Falling in love is an understatement. You will be completely enamored and OBSESSED once your trip is over. For this particular one we did everything in one day so make sure you start your day early! We tried some AMAZING breakfast tacos (still dreaming about them lol), had morning coffee in the magical town of Valladolid, went straight to Chichen Itza- make sure you pack a good hat, sunscreen and wear light + airy clothing, had a typical mayan lunch where Jose and Esaú surprised us with a birthday cake and sang "Las Mañanitas" (still crying it was so sweet and unexpected) followed by a mayan performance. Next a pit-stop and Mayapan Desitllery, an authentic agave distillery (yes it's tequila but you can't call it tequila bc it's in the Yucatan and not part of the DO of Tequila). Ask for Rosa she was amazing! Then ending the day at one of the most beautiful and breathtaking Cenotes ever!!!! It was MAGICAL! Also, can't forget to mention his trustful side-kick and partner-in-crime Esaú! Both Jose and Esaú made sure we had the time of our lives and made us feel completely safe and taken care-of. Honestly this trip would have not been the same without them. I am extremely grateful for both of them and cannot wait for my next visit. Tips for planning/booking with Locos Tours aka Papacitos Tours hahaha: -Make sure to pack a great sense of humor! -Plan most things in advance and make sure you tell your group to start the days early if you want to enjoy every second of this trip. -Download a playlist you can listen to offline so you can play in the car - make sure you add some reggaeton to the mix- Esaú loves it now and Jose is still warming up to it hahahah. -The way to Esaú's heart: snacks and good coffee! Chichen itza and cenote - Jose was so much fun to be around and knowledgable too. The lunch included in the tour was amazing. We went in the midst of a bachelorette trip and we were so happy we went!! Thank you Jose!

Jose is relaxed and knowledgeable - Jose is kind, relaxed and knowledgeable. He’s also at ease around kids and great with them. While he always has a plan, he’s also flexible and can read well when a family is interested in more or ready to move on. His breadth of real knowledge was on display as he answered several questions beginning, “some theories say that...while other experts believe...” Highly recommend!
