It’s the ideal way to cool off after exploring the ruins. There’s no need to feel rushed - you can stay at the cenote as long as you like to fully enjoy the experience. Chichen itza - Cristina is amazing, soo much knowledge, this company is lucky to have her. She should be teaching as a college professor somewhere.please enjoy her talents as a tour guide while she is here. I assume she will move to bigger and better things. Loved it.

Incredible day at Chichen Itza and Cenote Oxman! - I had an amazing tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico, visiting the iconic Chichen Itza and the beautiful Cenote Oxman — and it was truly a highlight of my trip!
Our guide, Arturo, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Mayan history and culture. Thanks to Arturo, we didn’t just see Chichen Itza — we understood it. He brought the ruins to life with rich storytelling and fascinating facts.
After exploring the site, we cooled off at Cenote Oxman, which was absolutely stunning with the crystal clear water and such a fun, refreshing experience.
Everything was well-organized and stress-free. The private tour format made it feel personal and flexible, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a deeper and more memorable experience in the Yucatán.

A Great Day - We spent an amazing day with our tour guide Alex and our driver Enrico. Everything worked like clockwork. They arrived on time and showed us a great day with lots of information and great photo opportunities at Chichin Itza the Cenote swim and then at the lunch we had at a great spot . They were professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

Wonderful experience - knowledgeable and tailored to our needs - We had a really wonderful experience in Mexico this December with Absolute Adventure Mexico.
Our first tour was to Chichen Itza and a cenote with a lunch in Valladolid. Our tour guide Arturo was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins and answered lots and lots of questions that we had about all kinds of things that were not necessarily part of the tour "script". He made suggestions about the best things to do and even advise us on ways to improve some of the other experiences we were planning to have in Mexico. He stopped at a convenience store so that we could buy a waterproof case for our phone when we realized that we wanted one for our tours. He made suggestions about a special drink we could try during our lunch. We really enjoyed our time with him and the attentive and tailored experience we had.
Our second tour was to swim with the sea turtles at Azumal and another cenote and lunch with our tour guide Juan. Again, we had a wonderful experience with lots of excellent conversation. We were able to ask lots of questions and get information about local flora and fauna. We never felt rushed and all in all it was a very pleasant few hours.
Our driver on both days was Enrique and he did a great job. We felt very confident with his excellent driving and it was lovely that he stayed in the vehicle to guard all of our things so that we could have unencumbered time swimming and doing activities without worrying about our personal items. He was always very helpful with getting us drinks and getting our equipment for each activity.
We thought it was very nice to be with a local family-owned Mexican business and we found the service to be top notch both emailing with the co-owner Claire and spending our days with the driver and tour guides. We were recommended this company by a friend and we will be recommending it to others anytime we have the opportunity.
I would also note that the prices were quite comparable if not cheaper than some of the big companies that have you in a group with a whole bunch of other people - whereas this was a private tour where we got personalized service, never felt rushed and got to guide our own way to some extent. We would not hesitate to come back again and again anytime we come to this area of Mexico.

Don't think twice - book it! - The reviews don't lie! This is the best tour we've ever been on. Our guide, Alex, and driver, Omar, were fantastic. It was just our family (4 of us) and it was like having our own history professor along for the ride. Alex knows so much about Mayan history and culture, and spent a ton of time answering our questions and explaining the significance of what we were seeing.
We were so glad we got to Chichen Itza early, as Alex knew exactly where to go for the best family photos before the crowds arrived. We couldn't believe how long the line was when we left!!! Alex took my husband to see some more ruins on the site while my daughters and I shopped, and then Omar had the van ready to go when we were done. I really don't think we would have fully appreciated the culture and the symbolism in what we were seeing if we hadn't had Alex there with us.
Then we went to Cenote Samula - they said we could choose a different one, but this is the one they recommended because it's not crowded. They were right! There were only a couple of other people in the cenote when we got there, and we had all the time we wanted in it. I hate cold water, and this water wasn't bad. It was refreshing, but not uncomfortably cold.
Then the restaurant we went to for lunch was fantastic. A totally nondescript, authentic restaurant with great service. Alex joined us and we got to talk even more about Mexico.
By that time we were pretty exhausted, but we stopped in the town to check out the oldest church in Mexico, and then headed back to our hotel. I LOVED that our schedule was our own - we didn't have to wait for anyone else or rush through anything because the whole tour was just ours.
There are some destinations that are fine DIY, but I highly recommend booking a guided, private tour for Chichen Itza. The driving, navigating, tolls, etc., are theirs to worry about, not yours.
I want to especially thank Omar and Alex for their professionalism. They really made the tour even more amazing for all of us!

Great excursion from Cancun! - Arturo, our guide, and Omar, our driver were the best choice for our group. We got a great history and tour of Chichen Itza and then the cenote was a highlight for us (2 non-swimmers were made to feel safe and had fun in the water). We recommend!

Amazing sight with friendly knowledgeable guides - Alex and Omar were awesome. They are very friendly extremely knowledgeable and informative they gave us more information than we could ever get by reading all the signs.
This trip was well worth the money. Highly recommend!!!

Must see for history lovers - This has been on my husbands bucket list for some time. He loves ancient history and I was so excited for him when we booked this tour. And it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Joshua, is so knowledgeable and friendly. Joshua’s ability to answer all questions without hesitation was impressive. He really knows his stuff. And the ruins……breathtaking. If you’re visiting Mexico, please try to put this in your itinerary. (And ask for Joshua as your guide)!

Chichen Itza, Cenote and Valladolid - I read the amazing reviews before booking with this company and they definitely did not disappoint! I can definitely say that they deserve their 5 star rating! They picked us up from our hotel right at 6am, and started our way to Chichen Itza (we stopped in they way for some coffee and breads as a light breakfast), then Joshua gave us an amazing very knowledgeable tour in Chichen Itza, constantly changing between Spanish and English to accommodate all my family.
After Chichen Itza we went to swim at the Cenote and then to have a delicious lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Valladolid. We had an amazing day and would recommend them to everyone!
