It was amazing! - We really loved this tour of Chichen Itza and Selva Maya Cenote. We made a very quick stop at the town of Valodolid but was still beautiful to see. Our tour guide was Claudia, driver Nico and they were so good. Highly rec!

Amazing! - Our tour guide, Claudia was great! This tour allowed us to customize the time as it fit our schedule. We left the hotel in Playa at 7.30am and highly rec early because Chichen Itza is HOT, even in April. Claudia was knowledgeable and kind. Our driver Nico was great too. The cenote Selva Maya was beyond our expectation. We make a very quick stop in the town of Valodolid because it was hot and we were tired. Zero complaints, they took great care of us.

Perfectly organized and carried out before the fair - Had booked a small group. We were picked up from the hotel at 6 a.m. and had a German-speaking tour guide. There were only 5 people in our group - which was perfect. Our guide Tomas Riede did a fantastic job. On the almost 3-hour journey he told us a lot of interesting facts about Chichen Itza. On the way we were allowed to stop at a really clean toilet. Went to Chichen Itza at 9 - everything was described and explained to us for 2 hours - Tomas did it in a very interesting way :-) Afterwards we had another hour to explore for ourselves. Then we went back 2.5 minutes in the air-conditioned minibus. We were back at the hotel at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and were still able to enjoy the sun by the pool or by the sea. A big thank you to Carmen (TRS Yucatan) who made our booking and especially to Tomas Riede and of course to our chauffeur David Garcia - who got us there and back safely.

Perfect Day Trip Tour from Cancun to Chichen Itza - Reliable, friendly, safe, well-organized. The tour started at our hotel, and we spent the day out and about. We needed to cut the day short (as we needed to get to wedding-related events in the evening)... our guide was perfectly flexible. Would 100% book this again, 10 out of 10.

Best way to explore Chichen Itza and avoid the masses. Ask for R2D2 ! - We booked this at the last minute (literally the day before) and everything worked out great. I booked the "Private Chichen Itza Tour" from the OceanTours web site and someone got back to me via e-mail within minutes to confirm some more details. We had a private van pick us up in Playacar, and our guide Arturo (R2D2) was great. Young guy with lots of knowledge about the entire Riviera Maya area. It included: pick-up at our Air B and B in Playacar private van with A/C and a dedicated driver. He stays with the van and you can leave your stuff here. Entrance to Chichen Itza. Totally customizable tour; you can spend as much or as little time here as you'd like and the guide will explain as much or as little detail as you want. SOme people just want to see the large/main pyramid and take off; but we walked most of the entire grounds which was well worth it. Cenote swimming at Cenote Saamal. Life vests included. No need for snorkel gear, there's not much to see under the water. There is a large buffet/dining spot here, and the food is included. Pretty good chicken and pork that is steamed/smoked under ground. Drinks are extra $ A visit to the village of Valladolid. There's a nice town square here with some shops, ice cream, and a couple spots to knock down some tequila. Back home to playacar. Overall a very long day but totally worth it! Make sure you have sunscreen on yourself for the Chichen tour, there is not a lot of shade there. Have fun!

Private tour is way to go! - Our guide, Sarah was great. She had alot of great historical knowledge to share. Having a private tour was perfect! She steered us through Chitzen Itsa avoiding crowds. The day was a bit cool so we visited the Cenote, but didn't swim. Bcs this was a private tour, we were able to change to ziplining instead. It was wonderful having someone to direct and take care of everthing for us. The driver was professional and exceptional

Nice exploring tour - Exploring and learning about the history of the local Mayan temples. Tour guide was professonal, knowledgeable, patient and helpful. They had beverages and snacks for us. Chichen Itza was interesting. Very hot weather. Bring hat and water. Cenote was refreshing. Food was okay. Walking around Valladolid town after rain was much better than walking in the heat. It had a lot of local food and shops. Overall it was a nice adventure.

Our guide didn’t have... - Our guide didn’t have credentials. She hired a random on side guide. She was sleeping on the road. Very little interaction with us. Food was average. Supposed to be vip…. Not vip at all
