Chichen Itzá/ Ik Kil/ Coba-Fantastic tour with great team - Great package two Mayan ruins plus mesmerising cenote and it was only group of eight. We had fantastic time. I can’t thank enough the team who took care of us. Everything was planned perfectly. We avoided big crowd at every point of our travel. Our tour guide Gabriel was very accommodative with a lot to tell. Chichen Itzá was very hot though we arrived first thing in the morning. I will advise to take two bottles of water provided by the team and don’t forget the hat. I will recommend to wear sport/ tracking sandals not trainers just apply a lot of sunscreen on your feet. If you want to take phone to cenote make sure you have water protective pocket for it and don’t take anything with you except the phone. Ik Kil cenote breathtaking beautiful. Coba was amazing much cooler than Chichen Itzá. Take a bike or tricycle taxi, please don’t attempt to walk as in Coba all the ruins spread around the jungle not like in Chichen Itzá where all in the same square. You will not regret your decision if you choose this tour.

Searching for Lost Mayan cities in the Mexican Jungle - Picked up from Our hotel in a comfortable and air conditioned mini bus our adventure began with a visit to Chichen Itza, perhaps the most famous of all Mayan cities. We took a comfortable ride to The Mayan Metropolis that was Chichen Itza. Located in the Yucatan Peninsula. Our highly knowledgeable and friendly guide; Gabriel told us that Chichen Itza is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. The Pyramid of Kukulkan, also known as El Castillo, dominates the landscape. This step pyramid, Gabriel told us has precise astronomical alignment and serves as a testament to the Maya's advanced knowledge and engineering skills. Exploring Chichen Itza. Gabriel really brought it all to life. Leaving Chichen Itza, our journey took us to a refreshing Cenote. Next, we went further into the jungle to the ancient city of Coba. Unlike Chichen Itza, Coba is less restored, offering a more exciting experience. You can hire a bike or get wheeled about on a Rickshaw. Gabriel came with us and showed us the Ancient "Stelae" (carved stone slabs) depicting rulers and deities, offering insights into the city's history and its connection to the divine. Gabriel told us that the Mayan language was so complex only a small percentage has been translated. This is an amazing must do trip, a highlight of our stay and Gabriel made our trip to Mexico so worthwhile. We didn't get to say goodbye to him on our trip. We just want to say HUGE thanks!

Exceptional - Alejandro was a plethora of information , we learned more than we were expecting and he was so entertaining. Loved the whole day so much , very long and extremely hot but good. My only suggestion would be to have more breakfast snacks , it was a very long day (13 hours) with a late lunch, bring snacks if you can and a ton of water. The Cenote was amazing but his knowledge of everything was next level!

Had a wonderful day touring the Mayan Ruins - This excursion was wonderful, among the best excursions that we have ever taken. Our driver was Lee and our tour guide was Gabriel and they were both great. We had a small group of 10, and then were divided into one group of four for the English version and one group of 6 for the Spanish version. Gabriel was very knowledgeable and was glad to answer all our questions. He was also very patient with us as we took way too many pictures. The breakfast/snack that was provide was cookies, a banana and small juice. Plus, they provided cold water for us several times throughout the day. If I had to name anything negative it would just be that there was about an hour on the van during which the Spanish tour guide gave a presentation about what we assume was Mayan history. The entire presentation was done in only Spanish so those of us who did not speak Spanish were not able to understand any of it. That was disappointing because the others seemed to really enjoy it. Still, that was not significant enough for us to affect our opinion of the excursion. We highly recommend this tour and sincerely hope that you get Gabriel as your guide.

Highly Recommended!!!! - The monitor Antonio attended to us plus the rest of the team, I didn't miss anything! They offered us water and snacks at all times and above all they gave us the estimated time to eat, take photos, etc. without any rush….. They didn't give you a strange look if you delayed 3 minutes between changes of activity, they regulated the air in the vehicle as we pleased, they grabbed our personal cell phones to take photos of us... anyway!!! Thank you Antonio for our part, may God bless you all! And your people from Mexico. Jessica and Jordi ❤️

The Best Tour Ever - Jesus and Maria were amazing. They picked us up on time from our hotel and seemed to know all the “good” times to be at certain places. We were always able to get to get to the location before the massive crowd arrived. They were very punctual and filled with great information. We never had to wait in lines to get tickets. The added bonus was that our tour was for 8 people so everything was very personal and they answered every question we had. As far as the excursion, these three particular locations were breathtaking and quite frankly the best options for the price they offered. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this tour!!!

Excellent Excursion. Worth the Cost. - Excellent day long excursion. Gabriel was an excellent guide and Raphael was a very considerate driver, always happy to help. Very much enjoyed Chichen Itza but the real highlights were swimming in the cenote and touring Coba. It is a very long day but worth every penny.

Good for photo ops, but not for history buffs - If you're looking for a tour that gets you efficiently to three sites and provides good photo ops, this is a good choice. You'll skip the huge tour bus crowds and the worst of the heat at Chichen, which is worth the extra money. If you're looking for in-depth archeological/cultural information about the sites or if you are tall/wide, I do not recommend this tour. Our guide was nice but the historical information we got was perfunctory. Coba, in particular, was only a 30 minute stop and even though it's an enormously important Mayan site and fascinating in its own right, we didn't learn much about it and didn't have time to fully explore it -- so as a result, it didn't feel worth all the extra driving (as other reviews have indicated). Also, the mini bus seats are narrow and don't have much leg room, so if you are tall or broad shouldered (like my husband) you will be miserable because you spend many hours in the bus. Honestly, with a more informative tour and a slightly smaller group (so that you spend less time doing pickups and more time at Coba instead of rushing through it), this would've been great, but as is I wish that we'd chosen a different option. It wasn't what we were hoping for.

Avoid if you can - I would avoid booking due to devious practices on their end. Be prepared to give up a whole day of your vacation and I mean a long day especially if you are staying in playa del carmen. They suggest when booking that you will be picked up at 7am but the day before you depart they will let you know that you’re pick up will actually be at 5am and you will spend hours picking up other guests along riviera Maya and cancun before the 2 hour stretch to Chichen Itza. It is incredibly difficult to get ahold of the tour operator. I had an issue with my partner suffering from a stomach ache and tried to call the night before and just before my pick up to speak to them to ask if it was possible to rearrange and I couldn’t get through (please see picture attached). They didn’t call to say if they were picking me up or not and then to add insult to injury the told me it would be possible to go the next day and then told me after they made a mistake and they couldn’t help me at all.
