It might have been about Rainy Days and other impressions; but my guide didn’t Lautrec me Absinthe-minded! - It was my first time to the Art Institute and I wanted to get a bit more knowledge on some of the key works of art and I was very pleased with my guide Joe. He was knowledgeable, personable, and keen to allow my own personal preferences.

Best Museum Tour Ever - Marlin is a super star - We had the luck of having Marlin as our private tour guide for the Art Institute of Chicago. His knowledge of the art works and the history behind them was thorough and comprehensive. He made humor an integral part of this presentation and stories. This helped make things relevant and made our time together fly by. A truly enjoyable experience. Marlin is a super star and we hope you are lucky enough to have him as your guide.

Art Museum experience for all knowledge levels - Bernie did a great job! He is very knowledgeable about the art museum and all it has to offer. He asked us questions about what we wanted to see to make sure we had the best experience. He had great background stories and also spoke to each of us to make sure we were all understanding the various art pieces/artists and having a good time.

Excellent tour of a great museum - I had not been to the art Institute before. This was a fantastic introduction to the enormous collection here. Rather than running around trying to show us everything, our guide expertly gave us some overall introductions to the collections and then concentrated on individual pieces that brought those collections to life.

Art with a story - Marlin provided an excellent tour with good stories to provide background and insight into more than just the paintings and the artists. You get a very good "Chicago" feel from the tour.

Great Tour - Joe was very knowledgeable and did a nice job showing us the highlights of the art institute as well as some things we had not seen on previous visits. The tour started as the museum opened and we beat the crowds. It was wonderful.
