A must see - The Field Museum has so many things to look at and read about. We were there for three hours and still didn’t finish seeing everything. Definitely put this on your list of things to do if you ever visit Chicago.

Amazing - Great experience. Wish my back didn't hurt from all the walking. There's a lot to see. Prices are a little high! Was a great experience.

Chicago a trip of a lifetime! - This was a trip 10 years in the making and my son was in total awe! He and I both love history and this museum was filled with it!

Amazing museum needs some TLC for core exhibits - Magnificent museum with impressive atrium. Smaller but comparable to New York's Museum of Natural History. Very broad mix of exhibits; their animal dioramas are terrific. Sadly, some areas are in clear decline and in need of conservatorship, like the badly faded and shrunken collection of birds, and the frowsy South Pacific exhibit. Would like to see money spent on preserving and rehabilitating real, priceless, irreplaceable artifacts than on "interpretive" displays of trendy topics at extra charge. The proliferating temporary exhibit spaces make the rear galleries a firetrap maze. Pro tip - don't buy your ticket in advance. I did, and no one ever asked to see it.

Best in the world - Clearly one of the best natural history museums on the planet. And all this for a very reasonable price. In depth explanations for those who are interested in summaries for those who are looking for something to get interested in.

Nice Natural History Museum - Pretty standard natural history museum in a nice building. The museum has 3 levels with some interactive experiences. Admission is free if you have a membership to another ASTC museum.

Interesting exhibits. Wear good shoes. - Some interesting displays, no doubt. Navigating through the museum was not always easy. For a Monday, there were a lot of people and exhibits got crowded quickly. Like others have said, plan for enough time. Wear good sneakers. Pack a lunch (especially if you have diet restrictions), bring small bills for vending machines.
