Local Approved - Great information on the history of the pedway and how it connects and as a local it got my feet wet on how to actually use it day to day and learned more about the city.

Decent tour - I enjoyed the tour and appreciated the guide’s recommendations. As a native Chicagoan, I never consciously used the pedway and fortunately discovered how to navigate during the tour. The views were great and I particularly enjoyed seeing the Chicago Cultural Center. Unfortunately, the guide seemed a little pessimistic and could have delivered his material with fewer opinions.

Great guide, but not so great content - Our guide Jennifer was excellent: engaging, interactive and knowledgable. I would definitely sign up for another tour by her (and i have done Inside Chicago tours before). The problem is that this tour is a bit short on meat, especially on a Sunday. The first part, where the Pedway is underground, was interesting. The second part, the section above ground, not so much. Wandering a bunch of empty walkways, with many of the businesses closed or gone, was not that great. Jennifer did her best to make it seem exciting, but it fell a bit short. Maybe it would be better on a weekday with more activity.
