This tour promises not only a feast of local specialties but also an insight into the city’s food history and culture.

Children between the ages of 6 and 11 inclusively are permitted on this tour at the adult’s rate. Please inform us at the time of booking if you’ll be bringing a child between 6 and 11 years old. Sample Chicago’s Most Iconic Food! - Dash was incredible! Enjoyed every tasting and learned so much about Chicago. A Chicago dog, Italian beef sandwich and deep dish pizza were on the walking tour and took us to three different neighborhoods.

Awesome and Informative - Our tour guide Dash was wonderful!! He shared a lot of history, took us to the best spots for each food item and took us on the train as a surprise. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for something to do for a couple hours.

Upbeat, fun, and yummy! - Dave was AMAZING!! He was personable, funny, and easy to talk to. He made my two day trip to Chicago one to remember! He was so knowledgeable and made every step exciting. I definitely recommend booking the food tour! Thanks for remembering all of our names and sending taking awesome pictures!

Best guided tour in three years - Dash explained everything and answered all of my questions plus the questions of others on the tour with such patience. He was polite, kind and willing to learn about areas where others were from to add more of personal feeling to the experience

Lovely afternoon exploring - We wound up having the tour guide to ourselves. Rich was personable, funny, and knowledgeable. He appealed to everyone in our group and we had a nice afternoon. He was also a great photographer for our family shots!

The Chicago Classics Food Tour - Our tour guide was Dash. He was excellent. So knowledgeable about a variety of topics on Chicago---architecture; history;popular activities; and, of course food! He hit all the Chicago classics---the dog; the beef sandwich; and pizza. He also shared his website with us that had a massive amount of information and links to all of it. Really well done and a super nice guy. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

One of the best food... - One of the best food tours we’ve been on in the U.S.! Chicago Dave knows his city and its food well and had the perfect balance of seeing things, hearing about the history, and of course eating some amazing Chicago delicacies.
My only advice - there is a lot of food, so eat a small breakfast or be prepared to have leftovers for dinner!

They left without us!! - Five of us arrived three minutes late for 1:00 food tour. They were gone and no where in sight. Despite having my phone number and email address, we received no notices asking for our wherabouts. We learned later that the company’s proper protocol is to wait 10 minutes. When we called the number we were given we were scolded by the first person. We called back and the second gentleman was much more sympathetic and rightfully shocked at what happened. Though I am in the process of receiving a refund our day in Chicago was ruined.
