None other than Milton Hershey himself acquired his chocolate-making skills at the 1893 World’s Fair in the city, leading to the establishment of his own enterprise a year later. Moreover, several world-renowned chocolate confections, namely Tootsie Rolls, Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, Snickers, 3 Musketeers, and Milky Way, were either conceived or produced in the city.
