So glad we took this tour. The things and places we saw on the southside of Chicago were amazing. - The views were amazing. I noted many of them, so I was able to tell my family and friends the places and things we saw. The future presidential library space was very memorable and gives me a reason to come back once it is finished. DuSable museum was included, wish we had more time to explore. We visited the restaurant where President Obama ate breakfast was exciting, sorry we didn't try one of his favorite breakfast meals. The tour was well wort the cost. Would have like the tip included in the cost to keep from guessing what an appropriate tip was. The guide was very knowledgeable

Chicago in Black & White - If you want to learn about Chicago through the lens of a proud Black Chicago-born man then this is the tour for you. My family and I throughly enjoyed it. The personal experience was worth it for us. My husband even got an added tour of some other places in Chicago (Chinatown etc) that are not a part of the tour. Very glad we did it.

A LOT OF PEOPLE will enjoy this tour. - I booked this tour to gain positive insight into Chicago from the African-American perspective. Mr. Steve Johnson was very engaging, entertaining, and personable. He is knowledgeable about the history of Chicago and the contributions African Americans made in Chicago. A LOT OF PEOPLE will enjoy this tour. The cons” The tour stated to end the tour at a soul food restaurant, we did not experience that when we asked; The guide did not know what we were referring to. Secondly, it was longer than anticipated. Overall, a good tour and good experience!

Disappointing and overpriced - Whike I did discover new thinngs about black Chicsgo, I expected to see sites tthat were uplifting. Too much focus on the negative aspects of black Chicago. I feel that the tour guide, Steve interjected too much of his personal opinions and not enough facts.
