Jungle Adventure - Hot tour in a tight tour van with 18 others but a lot of fun with patience and tolerance. Regular pit stops for meals, bathroom, etc. No fault of the tour but the roads are bumpy and expect to spend a significant amount of time driving to reach these ruins. Water and Guides at the site are not included in the tour cost. Driver will drive fairly quickly in order to keep the tour on schedule.

take the tour! - the guide and driver were both very courteous. the first restaurant is a buffet with plenty of food. at yaxchilan, the guide does a tour or you can go solo. if you go solo, keep an eye on the tour group because they may be late to the reunion point. if they are, you can stay at the ruins a little longer. the second restaurant is good. you place your order before going to yaxchilan and then eat afterward. then on to bonampak. the bus rides are long, but the topes aren't too bad. it's a long day, but worth it.

Long, Rewarding Day - Great staff and absolutely amazing destinations. Loved the river boat ride and the food was good. It is a very long day of a lot of transportation in a full van. Come with patience and you will be rewarded.

Yaxchilan Closed, Dishonest Company - DO YOUR RESEARCH! Yaxchilan was closed and the company didnt tell us until we were on the bus that morning, they replaced our tour with a different, cheaper tour, but did not refund the difference. The tour we took was great, but the company was dishonest. Do your research on whether or not you can actually go on these tours, because the company will not tell you and they will still take your money

Very uncomfortable ordeal - This was the worst experience we had in Mexico. We were crammed into a van at 6am. The van had no AC or open windows. It was stuffy and very uncomfortable. We drove for around 3 or 4 hours to get to the first site. When there, we were told that there was no water taxi to take us to the ruins. So we then had to drive another hour to Bonampak. There is no guiding. The guiding is extra. After this first ruin, we could not face the thought of another 4 to 6 hours in this stuffy van on a hot day. We found a local taxi to drive us all the way back to Palenque and didn’t see the other ruins. This is a 14 hour tour. The overwhelming majority of the time is spent squashed into the van. It really is not worth it.
