Solo tour - Amazing tour guide, great energy, very friendly and informative. I visited temples and went around town and finished the tour with a boat tour (separate expense) to an herb farm where I ate ice cream and drank delicious refreshments. The Mae Ping boat tour place served food so I ordered the Khao soi and it was very tasty, I even got to feed fish in the river. I had a lot of fun Thank you to my tour guide Ms. Oy!

great tuk tuk tour - Very friendly young driver with little English skills, but all the more cheerful! 😀 We had a lot of fun. Great tour through the old town and to the most important temples without a guide. We did the tour in two hours. The driver was very accommodating to our wishes. We didn't get out at all the monuments. We drove through the market because we already knew it. The driver then drove us straight back to the hotel at our request (at no extra charge). A bottle of mineral water per person is offered. Overall, a great tuk tuk tour to get an initial overview of the city of Chiang Mai.

Okay-okay experience - The tuk tuk and the lady driver were great But the choices of sightseeing spots inside the old city are not all great. Some temples, museum, historical places - most have additional entry tickets. We were staying on the outskirts of the city in a resort and had to arrange additional transport to and fro to the meeting spot. We went for an afternoon trip and it was very sunny Couldn't enjoy much The only place we could enjoy with our kid was the flower show in a park

Do not recommend this so called “tour” - Basically, it just provided transportation to 3-4 temples and a market. The driver did not know much English. There was no explanation of anything. We missed a most important part (the 3 gold pagodas) of a temple. I found out while heading to airport . Therefore, no time to make it up. There was no plan for the drive to take us inside the old town. On my request, he drove by 5 gates and through the old town without stoping. The trip description is 4 hours, but at the 3.5 hours, we were sent back to hotel. Do not recommend this “tour”.

Not a tour, just a ride - learned nothing, felt taken advantage off. - Not a tour, just a ride around town. The driver first took us to two tourist shopping places without our knowledge or consent - jewelry and souvenirs - which we had no interest in and where we were ambushed by sales people. That took up 1 1/2 hours of our tour. Then she proceeded to take us to various temples and just let us out of the Tuk Tuk. No explanation of the temple or why it was important. She also took us to the museum and just dropped us off, we had no interest is spending an hour in a museum (especially since there was a huge group of young students that had just arrived. So the tour was not a tour, we did not learn anything about the city. It was just a ride from place to place.
