Pai - Mae Hong Son

Tham Lod Cave - Continue through the mountain roads, delving deeper into northern Thailand. Stop at Soppong to explore the Tham Lod cave system. Reach Mae Hong Son by evening — a tranquil town surrounded by forested peaks near the Myanmar border.

Rest Day in Mae Hong Son

Moo Ban Rak Thai (Mae Aw) - Take a break and enjoy the region’s charm. Visit hilltop temples, sip coffee by the lake, or choose an optional side trip to Ban Rak Thai — a tea-growing village established by Chinese settlers. This peaceful day allows you to rest up for the next part of the journey.

Mae Hong Son - Mae Sariang (via Khun Yuam)

Doi Inthanon - Chiang Dao
