This trip features the landmarks and highlights of Chiang Rai. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Chiang Mai in a private, air-conditioned car and take you to see the beautiful temples in Chiang Rai. On the way, we will first visit the Mae Khachan hot spring.
- Visit Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), a creation of a Thai artist and the most popular attraction.
- Have lunch at a restaurant.
- Visit Wat Rong Sau Ten (Blue Temple), a fascinating fusion of traditional Buddhist values and classic Thai architecture with extremely contemporary design choices.
- Visit Wat Huay Pla Kang (Red Temple), which sits on a mountaintop surrounded by an array of green hills in the heart of Chiang Rai. It is an impressive sight to behold from afar that only grows more interesting as you come closer.
- Alternatively, you can choose to visit Wat Sang Kaew Phothiyan (Rainbow Temple).
- Visit Lalitta Cafe.
- Then return to Chiang Mai.
- Travel time is included in the total duration of the tour.

10/10 experience - This was definitely my favorite tour, the service was great, the guide knew a lot of interesting information and the temples are beautiful! i took so many photos. The Lalitta cafe was great as well, it is a jungle inside a restaurant and it is full of flowers, waterfalls, and the food was delicious. 100% recommend!

Visited amazing temples. Tried local cuisine and saw the real beauty of chiang mai - Was amazing, gave alot of information. Knew all the great photo spots and genuinely just a great person. Best trip I have had in a long time

Five stars for sure - Austin is an absolute professional who clearly knows the region. He shared useful insights and spiced up the private tour with some humor. He was timely, catered to our needs, answered questions and shared openly about life is Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.

Highly Recommend - Austin was so incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the temples and made our whole trip so much better than I originally anticipated. I also appreciated his recommendation of the sticky rice ice cream with coconut at the blue temple stop, a delicious treat on a hot day! This trip is well worth the money, I highly recommended it.

Must book with Austin - Austin was a great guide. He was super knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. He knew where the best ice cream was, guided us through the temples and gave deep meaning to what we saw. The experience was incredible.
p.s. Austin is also a great photographer. He was happy to help our group of four at each can’t miss photo opportunity.
