Discovering Algeria with Fancyellow - We booked all day tours with Fancyellow. One was daily tour in the capital. I can say that these were not like those classic tourist tours. Thanks to the guides Zaki and Riad and the driver Bilal, we felt more like we were spending the day with friends. We saw a lot and learned about the history of Algeria. Vodic took us to a super restaurant for lunch and the food was top. I definitely recommend Fancyellow and thank you for two wonderful days.

Amazing Day! - I had an AMAZING tour with Luna! We had so much fun. It was like spending the day with a good friend. We fit in so much in one day and she is an extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and fun guide. Our driver was also a pleasure to work with. Everything went well from pick up to drop off. I could not recommend this tour enough! PLUS she was so patient with my love/need to pet every cat we saw 😂

A perfect day trip from Algiers - As we only had a few days to spend in Algiers, we decided to book a tour to get to know some of the attractions nearby. Definitely, this tour to Cherchell and Tipasa represented the highlight of our brief visit to Algeria. Great value for money, swift organisation and good communication made it the ideal choice to explore and learn a bit more of this gigantic and fascinating country. Our driver, Bilal, was nice and super punctual and our guide, Loubna, who we met in Tipasa, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, but also straight to the point when needed (as we are no experts in archaeology, we appreciated her concise yet insightful historical explanations, but especially the more detailed socio-cultural context descriptions). “Unfortunately” (as we did not have the chance to try some more delicious Algerian food), when we did the tour it was the first day of Ramadan - however, this gave us yet another chance to further discuss interesting cultural topics with our guide! Summing up, a very reliable and recommended company and an amazing experience in Algeria - the Roman ruins in Tipasa are truly set in a spectacular environment!!!

The best way to know Algeria - We took Fancyellow tours for half of our stay in Algeria and it's the best way to know the country. The tour guides are really knowledgeable, fun and kind. The company also helped me by writing a host letter that helped me process my Algerian travel visa. Algeria is a beautiful country but as a tourist it's not a country where you can intuitively find things on your own, specially if you are not fluent in Arabic or French. We did the Algiers, Tipaza and Cherchell, Djemila and Constantine tours and we were delighted by them all. The company also helped us by handling all of our taxi transfers and picked us up at the airports.

Excellent tour guides while in Algeria - I visited Algeria with two friends for 10 days in November '23. We used Fancyyellow to arrange our whole itinerary (with input from us) including, transfers, hotels, guides, site/museum tickets, intra-country flights, restaurants, etc. We had constant access to the FY managers/guides via WhatsApp to make trip requests on the fly. We had excellent service throughout (and we are fairly aggressive travelers and like no downtime). We did the following: Algiers, Constantine, Roman ruins of Timgad and Djmeli, Ghardaia/desert, Dellys, Timgad, Cherchell. We had four guides: Imad, Bilal, Hussein, and a woman (whose name I forget). All the guides were very good, but Bilal, who took us around the Roman ruins of Timgad and Djmeli was the best -- very knowledgeable, very friendly, and able to read the Latin inscriptions at the sites with great ease. FY did a great job organizing the cadence of the trip and adapting to our desire to do as much as possible. Our only complaint was the size of the cars shuttling us around in Ghardaia/desert were not very big and slightly uncomfortable and the driver was a bit unfriendly and wouldn't adjust his seat to give some more room to the back seat. We would advise a larger car there. All the other transports were very large/comfortable with good drivers. I have travelled to a few "exotic" locales including Ethiopia, Uzbekistan, Bhutan, and now Algeria and we always use a "local" guide as we think that is the best way to get access to the local culture and it is easier to reach them if something goes wrong. We have always had excellent experiences, including with Fancyyellow. Algeria is a remarkable place, with great cultural, architectural and historical points of interest. The Roman ruins -- particularly Djemli and Timgad, are amazing and some of the best I've seen. The walled villages of Ghardaia were also fascinating and the trip into the Sahara was gorgeous as well. We loved the whole trip and you really felt it was a bit of an adventure as Algeria is still off the beaten path for American tourists. Another note, all the hotels FY picked were very nice and comfortable with the Marriott in Constantine being the nicest (or most modern). While we found the city of Constantine sort of "okay," it makes a great jumping off point for the two days required to travel out to the Roman ruins. All in a excellent review for Fancyyellow. If you want to go to Algeria we suggest using them. Steve

Wonderful Tour to Tipaza - Both driver and tour guide are friendly. The guide is knowledgeable and patient. He explains important pieces in the museum very well which is helpful since I can’t read French. When we go to the Roman ruins, he helps me to visualize what it was like back then. This trip is really worth going. Highly recommend it.

Great experience, professionalism and dedication. - Myself and my partner went on a week's holiday to Algeria and did 3 tours with Fancyellow Tours (Cherchel & Tipaza, Algiers and Ghardaia). Each time, we were accompanied by different guides. All guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and kind. One of the evenings, after a tour my partner was unwell, so our guide insisted to take us to a Pharmacy to get the medicines, despite us suggesting we take a taxi instead. He wanted to make sure that my partner gets the medicine needed and support us with translation as English is not commonly spoken in Algeria. Our main contact from Fancyellow, Islam, organised every detail of our trip from the collection in the airport to drop off for our departure and everything went smoothly. Each time we contacted him with any questions or ideas for other day trips, he was quick to reply and organise any last minute changes. We've had a very smooth and pleasant experience throughout our stay in Algeria, and that was all thanks to Fancyellow staff, their professionalism and dedication. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!
