- Cheorwon Peace Observatory - Located in the central forward area of Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do, the Cheorwon Peace Observatory provides a sweeping view of the DMZ, the Cheorwon plain, and even parts of North Korea. The observatory displays photos of the 2nd Tunnel, military barracks, checkpoints, and the DMZ. A 50-person monorail offers easy access, allowing visitors to see the remnants of the ancient Taebongguk nation and even catch glimpses of North Korean soldiers through binoculars.
- Korean Workers’ Party Headquarters - Situated in Cheorwon-eup, this three-story building was erected in 1946 and served as the Labor Party’s headquarters until the Korean War began on June 25. Now a tourist site, it retains traces of the Korean War and is managed by the Cheorwon-gun Office as part of the Security Tour Course. It attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.
- Soisan Monorail - Nestled within the Cheorwon History and Culture Park, the Soisan Monorail ascends to the peak of Soisan Mountain, covering a round-trip distance of 1.8 km. Passengers enjoy breathtaking views of the Jaesongpyeong plains and the entire History and Culture Park area. The monorail features a distinctive two-panel glass shield that opens vertically, accommodating up to 8 passengers per car, with four monorails operating. They run 8 times per hour at 7-minute intervals, with each ride lasting about 10 minutes. Due to its popularity, reservations are recommended, though same-day tickets might be available on-site.
