Hyper localised tour experience with great caring tour guide - Patrick and driver were extremely great hosts. Patrick had a good command of English’s dun gave clear explanations on the historical sites and local cultures/practices. The restaurants, tea drinking and plantation visits were highly personalised and localised, and hence was something most tourists would not experience traditionally. Would highly recommend this tour!

Amazing day, amazing guide - We chose to spend my friend’s birthday with this tour and it was the best choice. We had an amazing day, experiencing the non touristy sides of a smaller city, visiting a local kindergarten, seeing the Leshan Buddha (which was so fun, because apparently it was the Buddha’s birthday as well!) and trying to pick tea leaves and see the process of making tea. We had the nicest guide, Patrick, and he was a really big part of making this day so special. So thank you, it was more than we hoped for.

Great way to see the Buddha! - We really enjoyed our tour guide, who was very knowledgeable about the sights and the local history. The boat tour to the Buddha was great - a spectacular viewpoint from the water. We had a lovely lunch with a local farmer and his wife, walked through Leshan, and then learned about the process of growing and harvesting tea.

Beautiful experience in China - We began our trip being picked up by a lovely driver that took us through 2hrs of beautiful China countryside until we reached the Great Leshan Buddha where we te Patrick, our guide. He explained various things about the Buddha during our ride on the river and then he took us to a lovely traditional town for a great lunch to finish the trip picking tea leaves and meeting a lovely auntie that showed us how to dry the leaves in a traditional way. I honestly say this, Patrick has given us the most amazing day in years!

Great day in Leshan🙂 - Thanks to our super kind and experienced tour guide Lucy , and driver Zhou, we have spent an awesome day to Leshan to visit the Giant Buddha. A landmark to be seen in just 2hrs Driving distance from Chengdu city. We viewed the Buddha by boat and hike. Either is a lifetime experience. Following visiting the Buddha we had a nice lunch in a local garden restaurant to try some of the local cuisine. Delicious and priceless. If you are looking for a day trip to escape from the city , recommend this tour with Lucy, who is local, super experienced , fluent in English and most importantly a lovely person. Credits to driver zhou for touring us safe and sound 🙂

Fantastic tour of the giant Buddha and - This was an excellent tour. It was a great way to learn some history, experience incredible cuisine in the lost village, and relax and enjoy some tea and conversation at a traditional family-run tea house. Sheldon was a great guide, and I will recommend this tour to any friends who visit Chengdu in the future.

Cool Buddha and Tea - We had a great time visiting Leshan and the giant Buddha. Sheldon, our tour guide, was very friendly and spoke great English. He gave us a lot of history and we also were to talk about US and Chengdu culture. The food spot we were taken to in old town was also incredibly declious. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in China. We also had a great driver who was safe and timely. Overall was a great 1 day experience to see some parts outside of Chengdu.

71m Buddha Figur and how to earn tea day trip🍵 - + Started in the morning from chengdu, visited the giant Buddha by using the boats. Chilled walkthrough in some hidden streets and end of the day harvested some green tea and learned how to cook and dry. It was a really nice experience to see in detail how to win tea and talk directly to the farmer about their business and the learn about their life story. Our Tourguide Sheldon was very young but shared a lot of facts during the hole trip. He was friendly and helpfully by everything. So we really enjoyed just to follow him and not to care about driving, paying or organizing something what can be easily a bit stressfully in china. -I am only a bit disappointed that we still have 130 air pollution values. Thought will be better outside from Chengdu
