Highlights
- Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - In the morning, your private tour guide and professional driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 8 am. Then, you will be transferred to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, also known as Panda Base, which is the home to nearly 50 giant pandas and red pandas. The habitat is exquisitely designed with luxurious trunks of bamboo. You will catch pandas feeding time at around 9:30 am as they are most active during this time of day. There, you will see furry adorable giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other. Later, you can watch a 20-minute video to learn about giant panda research and breeding in a small theater.
- Kuanzhai Alley - Lunch will be left to your own arrangement and expense; however, your tour guide could offer suggestions for authentic Sichuan cuisine at nearby local restaurants.

Our guide was helpful and friendly... - <p>Our guide was helpful and friendly. Her English is good and she has information about how can we see pandas best. The pandas were so cute, would highly recommend this tour.</p>

A fascinating journey with the... - <p>A fascinating journey with the pandas. The tour guide, Emma, was absolutely amazing and made our trip a great experience as her English is very good and it was easy to communicate. Emma has plenty of great information about pandas and has some secret tips about when and where to see them the best. The driver Mr Yan was also super nice. You have to do this visit and ask for Emma. She also helped us learning some basic Chinese words :</p>

The Panda tour was very nice and our... - <p>The Panda tour was very nice and our tour guide was informative, helpful, and pleasantly patient since we were traveling with our infant. I really enjoyed the Wide-and-Narrow Alley afterwards. The Panda Post Office was there. My wife window shopped and did some souvenir shopping while I meandered around and found a place to grab a snack and a drink. Fun to be had for all!</p>
