Great guide - Helen was an excellent guide - friendly, great English and was able to tailor the tour to my wishes. Had a wonderful experience.

Visit to see the great pandas - Our guide was very knowledgeable about both pandas and the work of the centre. She was able to guide us around the extensive centre, successfully taking us to where we were most able to see the pandas in action. Her English was excellent and patience and understanding as a guide were faultless. We came to Chengdu to see the pandas - and we did!

Unforgetable Experience! - Experience of a lifetime for me, even if I was just cleaning their enclosures and preparing their food. Although you cannot touch them, you do get much closer to these magnificient animals than the zoo experience. The information imparted on their care and efforts made to rehab them back into a wild habitat is truly inspiring. The lunch was simple, yet very tasty. The tour guide will take pictures/videos of you during the panda care part of the day as you cannot take your own camera into their enclosures. At the end of the day, you do get swag including your certification certificate as a panda volunteer. As it was winter school break, there were several children volunteers and efforts were made to have them in a different group than adults, which I appreciated.

Great tour! - Great tour - got in early and there was hardly anyone around. Tour guide was awesome - very knowledgeable and clearly had a passion for the job!

Pandas are awesome - Had a fun time seeing pandas. Kudos to Worley, who guided me through the entire experience. Expect to be ready to depart around 7am to see animals before their feeding time, when they rush to their enclosures! And make sure to brush up on your sculpturing skills to make the best panda cake out there!

A great volunteering experience - I had such a great a time visiting the Panda base and also being a volunteer, which I booked out of curiosity, but I’m glad I did. As a volunteer you get not only to clean the panda’s cage (which actually felt rewarding) but also to see the pandas being fed from a close distance. The whole day was very well organised and special thanks belong to my tour guide Rosalin who was there with me the whole time. She is such a lovely and funny character and I believe we truly got along. She is very knowledgeable about pandas and the history of the panda base as well.

Knowledgeable and exciting trip with awesome guide Rosalie - Rosalie was extremely knowledgeable about Pandas. Together with an excellent command of English, fun facts were communicated seamlessly. She also shared a lot about great tour and food spots in Cheng Du. In all, we had a fun filled morning thanks to her sincere hospitality. Thank you!

Great afternoon, great guide - We had a great afternoon and were lucky enough to see lots of pandas and panda babies. Our guide Cassie was incredibly nice, perfectly informed and even took us to a local teahouse after the trip. We can only recommend the excursion (and especially a tour with Cassie).

Fun with 🐼 - Even though it was super crowded but it was worth it to see the adorable Pandas in person. The guide Roselyn was perfect part of the experience 🙂
