The driver will drop guests off at the east gate of Jinshanling Great Wall. A file detailing the route (including walking directions and where to exit at Jinshanling Great Wall) will be provided at the time of booking. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own shuttle bus ticket (one-way) and main gate entrance ticket. Follow the provided route and enjoy a self-guided hike on the Great Wall. Guests will have approximately 3-4 hours to explore the Great Wall.

The hike at Jinshanling Great Wall is a one-way route, spanning nearly 6km. It is considered a hike of moderate to strenuous difficulty. Please wear comfortable shoes and ensure you are prepared for the hike.

The ideal spot for watching the sunset is General’s Tower. Enjoy the sunset there, then descend from the Great Wall to meet the driver after sunset.

Return to the city with a drop-off at your hotel.
