Participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice crafting wool products such as rugs, covers, or even sweaters using a traditional loom. Additionally, guests will savor Moroccan cookies and green tea, infused with a generous amount of spearmint leaves and other herbs, reflecting our tradition of hospitality.

Ever admired a skillfully crafted piece and wished you had the ability to make one yourself? Then this workshop is designed for you.

Initially, we’ll begin with an overview of Moroccan crafts, particularly focusing on wool, enhanced by the comfort of mint tea and local pastries.

Subsequently, you’ll get hands on experience, spending 30 minutes learning the basics of weaving on a traditional Moroccan loom under the guidance of a skilled and affable Maalem. Feel free to elongate your session if you’d like to create and bring home your own fabric.

Be informed that crafting a piece of 1 m² typically takes approximately 4 hours. The duration of the activity varies and it could be approximately one and a half hours, subject to the guest’s requirements.
