A definite foodie’s delight - Abdul met us at our Riad and took us for a stroll (Chefchaouen has many ups & downs). We started with fresh squeezed orange juice and before we continued, we each got a bottle of water. We headed outside the Medina and into new Chefchaouen past the cemetery where the town’s founder was buried. Our next stop was for some wonderful soup before stopping for some dates, figs and goat cheese. We then went to a restaurant we we sampled goat cheese with date honey & quince jam, then 5 types of vegetables and three tajines before finishing with a goat’s milk yogurt (yum!!). Gelato finished the evening’s sampling.
