- Backbury House Retreats - We offer creative photography workshops expertly designed in order to develop your skills and enjoyment in photography. You will undertake fun and enjoyable activities in order to achieve effective artistic shots.
The workshop can be completed using a mobile phone which has a good camera function. You can also use your DSLR camera for the workshop.
What we will cover:
- How to take more effective shots by exploring composition and viewpoints.
- Discovering how the masters do it to help develop ideas and techniques.
- Developing artistic effects by using props and backgrounds.
- Exploring different lighting effects to create atmosphere and drama.
- Working in both studio and natural settings.
You will have the opportunity to work within studio setting, here at Backbury House and learn how to use simple setups which can then be recreated after in your own home.
You will also have the opportunity to work “en plein air” and explore our six-acre site encompassing woodlands, orchards, paddocks and flower gardens.
