Great walking tour in St. Thomas! - Great walking tour with our guide Eddie. He brought us water, informed us about the history of St. Thomas and described the importance of the many sites we were seeing. And we enjoyed some yummy treats along the way.

A True Taste of St Thomas! - We loved learning about the history of the island and seeing the heart of Charlotte Amalie. Eddie was phenomenal, very knowledgeable about the history of the area and answering all our questions. The butter bread was delicious and the fruit tarts were amazing. We loved that it avoided the high tourist areas and took us to the true center of the city, including the farmer's market, bakeries and winding alleys. Thank you, Eddie!

Great experience - Eddie our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and the current events going on. We were lucky enough that because of Eddie, we were able to go into the building where the governor's office is located.

One of a Kind Tour - Lisa was amazing! It was an amazing experience to receive information and the history about the island from a local that had lived there all her life. She provided perspective on the growth of the city. We loved the interaction and imitate detail Lisa was able to provide being from the island. Sampling the food along the way was a great bonus to eat like the locals!

Awesome cultural tour with Eddy - Our tour guide Eddy was awesome. He’s been living on STT for over 30 years so he has a wealth of information to share. He loves to answer all of your questions too. The tour does involve some hilly parts of city but not too bad. If you are elderly with walking issues you might reconsider. I’m 60 and had no problems. Eddy was able to get permissions to enter some of the government buildings (not part of the tour) which was great as we were able to see some of Camille Pissarro original paintings. And we got to sign the visitor book. So we’re officially documented as visitors! So overall a terrific tour, and yes we got to eat treats from local bakeries. Yum! We definitely recommend this tour.

Great tour to start our trip! - We took this tour on our first morning on St Thomas, and it really set the bar high for our whole trip! Eddie is a great guide who clearly knows his way around town and its history. Unbeknownst to us, we booked our tour on Emancipation Day, so some of the planned stops weren't open due to the holiday, but that didn't dampen the experience, as we got to learn a little more about that piece of the islands' history. The stop at the synagogue was especially interesting, too. This was a great intro to Charlotte Amalie and St Thomas in general, and gave us an excellent starting point and frame of reference for exploring on our own later. Be prepared for steep hills and steps all the way and bring plenty of water and sunscreen!
