Our Horse Carriage ride in Charleston - Our tour guide Bob! He was the BEST! We have a unique situation with my sister-in-law. Several years back she a had a tramatic injury, which left her with many disorders. Mostly she blurts out obscenities and we had no control. I told Bob of the situation and he was so kind to over look the situation and make our carriage ride not only enjoyable but learned so much about Charleston we never knew. Every question we asked he was able to answer with so much enthusiasm. Bob was so genuine he made us feel like friends not just passengers on a carriage ride. I booked the trip over the phone. When we got there my name was on the time slot I booked and they got us loaded up promptly. They provided complimentary water for the trip and were so friendly. Recommend Highly! - The architecture of the cities beautiful historic buildings and gardens. We came a little early and they let us go early. It was an unforgettable experience. Thank You!

Great tour of Charleston! - Had an excellent tour of Charleston! Driver was Bubba with his fine horse, Mello Yellow!! Great historical sights and information. Highly recommend this tour company!!

Don't Settle for Less! - We did a private daytime tour and had the most amazing time. There are several carriage companies to choose from and I would choose Palmetto over and over again. The professionalism, knowledge, and humor shown was top notch. Our guide David was incredible and I would highly recommend him. This was a great way to see downtown Charleston in such a relaxing environment.

Great experience - We booked a evening tour, as it was our Anniversary. We enjoyed it immensely and will do it again, next time we return. A big shout out to Alex for being very accommodating and really helping us out. We won't forget it.

Disappointing - Our driver and horse were very good (Bubba and Bosch) but rest of trip less than memorable and we paid way to much for a private carriage ride. Just didn’t see any interesting sites.

Not as informative/interesting as others - Nice facilities & our guide was very friendly, but overall tour was just not very informative and we felt it was not worth what we paid. While walking around town the next few days, we overhead other carriage tours by other companies and they were much more interesting and didn’t feel so rushed.

Disappointing service. Beware of late afternoon booking. - We booked a 6:30pm private carriage. We showed up right at 6:30pm and were off the carriage by 7:00pm. The entire experience was rushed, like the staff did not want to be there that late in the day. Maybe they do a better job in the day time when staff isn’t itching to finish their day. But if you want a romantic, evening carriage ride, I would not recommend this company.
