- La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview - Take your kids on a swashbuckling adventure on the 45 foot wooden Black Ghost Pirate Ship! They will be spinning yarns about it for years. With personal Pirate names and once prepped by the Captain, our crew of determined mates cast off into a world of all things pirate!
Your Pirate Adventure Cruise is filled with all things fun! The first 15 minutes is spent getting the little pirates ready with pirate gear (optional) as well as teaching them how to talk like a real pirate crew. Once the crew is ready, we board the ship and head out on the Ashley River to the Wappoo Creek.
- Our pirate adventure cruise is a thrill seeking, high seas, treasure hunting voyage.
- Before setting sail on the Black Ghost every child will be transformed into an official member of the Black Ghost Crew.
- The activity is non-stop with songs to sing, treasure to find and maps to read.
- There is no time for lolligagin! Our fallen pirate, Sneaky Pete, steals the key to our sunken treasure!!! Arrrgh!!! We have to defeat him with our water cannons to get it back!! The good news though is that we always win!

Pirates of Charleston Family Fun harbor cruise - This was a fun family harbor cruise. Morning time was great! Kids enjoyed the interactive pirate play, treasure maps, treasure hunt, Water cannons, sword fights, water pistols, and pirate names. We will be doing it again!

Awesome adventure for all - I wasn't quite sure what to expect but from the very beginning when 1st meeting the crew to the very end, it was an excellent experience for the kids and adults. If you are in the area I highly recommend this adventure.

So fun for families! - We all laughed and smiled the entire time. I knew our kids would like it but let me tell you - they go above and beyond to make the show special for everyone. Every detail is incredibly thoughtful from the moment they greet you. Thank you Pirates of Charleston for providing pure joy for our whole family. Really special day!

Wonderful trip - Great time for our grandchildren and very enjoyable for us too. Highly recommend for children 3-9 or so. The staff was very kind and the entire trip was busy with activities

Great time for kids and adults! - Super fun experience! The kids had a blast and they had the adults laughing too! Very enthusiastic and engaging with the kids! My son says his name is now Lawless!

Full of fun & imagination! - We book on a whim and it was such a great decision. Our girls (Angelfish & Mighty) had the best time, the crew was amazing, and it was full of fun and imagination. Scallywag is now our word of the week and it has kept us laughing every time our girls say it. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Charleston!

Private Pirate Cruise - I cannot say enough about how much fun this entire adventure was for our entire group - kids and adults alike! From the moment we arrived at the dock until the minute we departed the vessel we were whisked away to the world of pirates - complete with bandanas and swords for the kids. The amount of activities packed into the entire trip (pirate limbo, irons practices, sword fighting practice, water cannons, treasure hunting, swabbing the deck and more) was amazing and had our kids highly engaged the entire time. The crew was also so incredible in how they interacted with our kids (5, 3, 2, 18 mos, 18 mos) and made them all feel a part of the entire journey. We were in town for a week and this was easily the highlight of our trip. We are excited to come again the next time we are in Lowcountry!!!!

Aye 'twas a glorious thing to be a pirate king... - Cruise was excellently organized to keep the kids entertained, engaged, and moving for the entire trip. There was no lag time from the moment we left the dock to the return. We took four, ages 1.5, 3, 7, & 9. All enjoyed it and the 'crew' were sensitive to the sizes and ages. All said an excellent suggestion from a friend and the family adults all appreciated the success of the trip. And they got pirate booty to boot!

Don't miss this experience if you have kids under 10! - Wow, this boat cruise so well put together. Very well thought out, with all the most exciting twists and turns along the way. My spouse and I couldn't believe how fun it was and our kids loved it all. The sword fighting and water canons were a huge hit, as well as the water pistols and nicknames. 10/10 would recommend and come back with friends.
