- Morris Island Lighthouse - We will travel to the north end of Folly Island as we walk the graffiti road for a beautiful vista of Morris Island Lighthouse. Enjoy Folly in it’s original, non-civilized state.
And you never know, we might bump into John B if they are shooting for Outer Banks.
This walk is 1/4 mile, then we will traverse a sand dune onto a secluded part of the beach.

Discover Folly Island in its entirety. Many visitors to Charleston are unaware of the stunning beaches on our doorstep! Folly Beach may even give you a feeling reminiscent of Key West! Arrive at the beach town comfortably in my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter van, dress in your beach gear, and immerse yourself in this surfer-friendly destination. This is an exclusive tour accommodating 1-10 participants.
The journey includes a half-mile walk to Folly’s northern end, boasting a breathtaking view of Morris Island Lighthouse. This is a significant location where various scenes from Outer Banks were shot. Follow this up by strolling on the water via the Folly Beach Pier. Fancy a margarita or maybe some ice cream? Afterward, you’ll be free to explore surfer shops in the area. For lunch, I recommend Taco Boy, but the choice is yours. Our trip concludes with a drive to Folly’s southern end and the county park.
Feel free to personalize your adventure beforehand by including extra hours. You also have the option to rent beach chairs and simply enjoy the surf.
