We went on a Friday night and the amount of people out and about, interrupting the tour, etc took away from the experience. Our tour guide was pretty good and rolled with the punches, but I was expecting a little more dark alleys and streets. This was all out on the main the streets where everyone was loud and rowdy.

Jonathan was very knowledgeable and explained things very clearly. Unfortunately there were so many tours happening at the same time that we got interrupted a few times and it was very distracting.

We loved the idea and route of the tour! I think our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, but I got the impression he is new to the business and hasn’t had the chance to fine tune his storytelling skills to really draw people in and entertain the group. I also didn’t find the tour particularly depraved or rated R which I was especially looking forward to. It’s sold as hearing more about the dark side of Charleston, but the stories were not as interesting as I’d hoped. Overall it was a cool way to experience Charleston’s history!

Our tour guide was pretty disorganized. She was friendly but her story telling didn't make much sense or was awkward. I only gave 2 stars versus one due to leaving the tour after the first 40 minutes as we were not enjoying ourselves.

This was the worst tour I’ve ever been on. Our guide barely knew any details, was terrible at storytelling. Every sentence was finished with “and what not…” due to a lack of detail or information. I would not recommend this tour to anyone, at least with our guide.
