A Charleston Must! - After reading the reviews we knew this would be good. Well, it was GREAT! Michael is not only an incredible cook but so full of history on the food we ate as well as the history of Charleston. You will meet some wonderful people and enjoy this incredible evening. A bonus is the museum - included with the ticket! This is a MUST when visiting the city!

Good Food, Good Company - A great evening! The food was excellent in quality, preparation and presentation. Mike was knowlegeable, professinal, personable and entertaining; the atmosphere beautiful and relaxing. The museum is excellent, too, so take the time to do this added after dinner bonus. Bring a bottle of wine for dinner and enjoy!

Fabulous Dining and History Experience - Other than the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, this meal with historian Mike Hebb was the most memorable experience of our Savannah, Charleston, and Ashville tour (taken after Thanksgiving 2023). Colonial food was FABULOUS especially with Mike's professional historical context of Charleston culture and vast history. Our only 2 regrets were: 1) we did not follow our premonition of recording (with our iPhone) the historian cook's informative and humorous dialog of American history and food during the surprisingly delightful array of a full course meal; and, 2) we were unprepared for Mike's offer to bring leftover food at the end of the event because of our continuing travels. Without a doubt, this was worth every penny and time invested: Highly, highly, highly recommended!!!

History + Food = Winning Combo - A great experience to share a meal with a group of people - learning about history and eating great food. Mike was a wonderful host, shared a lot of interesting history and great food on top of it all. Also loved the ability to have a private visit at this museum.

Great dinner group - Our evening with Mike at the Historic Charleston Supper Club was amazing. Mike is so knowledgeable and shares an abundant about of information about Charleston history as well as culinary history. He is warm and invites questions and comments throughout the evening. The food that he prepares is delicious and plentiful. The soup and bread as well as the multiple entrees and desserts were presented in an appealing manner and the background provided on each dish was interesting. The dining room is a beautiful setting of china and serving dishes. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. The visit to the museum prior to the dinner was an added touch.

Excellent food and history experience - Had a very enjoyable evening listening to Mike speaking about the history of the region and how the food he had prepared related to that history. The food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the Beef Rump, Mushroom Fricassee, and Shrimp Pie. The Apple Charlotte dessert was also outstanding. Being located in the South Carolina Historical Society building provided additional context with the exhibits we had time to enjoy while the final touches of the dinner were being prepared. Highly recommend this activity!
