Is it a guided tour through breweries with some ghost tales woven in, or a ghost tour with occasional brewery stops? The guests get to make that call, but one thing is for certain - this isn’t your ordinary ‘sit quietly and listen’ journey. Instead, it is an interactive experience where you can engage in a conversation with a local inhabitant of Charleston. This unique combination of a pub crawl and ghost tour takes visitors to two bars, with complimentary starters served at the first stop and drink suggestions provided by the guide. The tour also includes a stroll past local cemeteries and lanes, where the visitors will hear ghost accounts associated with these spots, some more than two centuries old. The tour concludes at a striking local park, known as the execution site of one of the first female serial killers. But beware, lingering too long after the tour might make you a part of the ghostly lore! (Please note, the tour does not involve entering the graveyards.)

A learning experience for sure! - Bootiiful
Good, knowledgeable guide, nice group, interesting spots to visit with much history involved. People with low night vision and mobility issues might find this challenging. Let the guide know if there is a problem, and he will be most accommodating. Thanks, Captain Bryan!

Fantastic Time! - We are "second timers" with Captain Brian. My wife and I had such a great time the first time in 2022, we treated our good friends to a tour. Captain Brian is enthusiastic and a wealth of knowledge about the history and hauntings of Charleston. What a wonderful evening.

Love the Boo Hag tour! - Captain Bryon knows a ton of Charleston history and uses that to put his ghost stories in context. It was educational and engaging, and everyone in my group had a blast! Highly recommend the Boo Hag ghost tour, particularly to history buffs.

Best Ghost Tour Around - You could come to me with your right hand on a Bible and tell me you’ve found a better Charleston ghost tour, and I’d call you a liar. Brian was incredibly knowledgeable of both the ghosts of Charleston and the factual history of the city as well, telling comprehensive stories that intertwine the both. He was an amazing and engaging speaker and genuinely a kind person who made our trek around the city very enjoyable. Furthermore, he has a deep respect for the city and its people that my group greatly appreciated. If you are booking one tour through this city, book this one. Just to note, this tour involves a good deal of walking through a variety of beautiful areas and the opportunity to purchase some great drinks from local bars/pubs. I cannot recommend it enough, I had one of the best tourist experiences of my life.

Fun historical ghost tour! - Definitely worth booking your ghost tour with Brian. Went to a couple of bars and learned so much history about Charleston and the local ghost lore. Look forward to going on some of Brian’s other tours.

Such a good time! - This tour is a really good time, Captain Bryan is both knowledgeable and entertaining. He has some obscure information you might not get from other tour guides. Keep an open mind and remember this is the South and not all the history here is pleasant, but needs to be remembered. I would definitely recommend another tour with him!
