Additional Information

Only a select few tour guides here are authentic locals, and I’m proud to say I am one of them. As a descendent of a family living in the Carolinas since 1735 who moved to Charleston in 1786 to advocate for the end of slavery, this city beats in my heart. Its historic charm and rich culture, its living citizens, and resonant past breathe life into the American narrative, precisely what we call the Charleston saga. I’m an integral part of this community, and having lived here, I can give you an insider’s view like none other. Intricacies of the past are like well-read chapters of a book to me, and my connections with locals in the regions we’ll be exploring are an added asset. When you sign up with me, you’re not just joining a tour; you’re walking with an entrepreneur who runs his own individual business - Peninsula Walking.

Let’s explore iconic sites together like the Rainbow Row, the Battery, Ft. Sumter, grand mansions, and picturesque gardens.

Daily tours start at 10:00 am.
