Great Time - Had great fun the trip there was enjoyable and scenic - Kostos and Anna were great as in the previous trips we had done with them (3 in total!) would highly recommend to anyone.

Gorgeous! - We absolutely fell in love with Chania! The whole place has such a relaxed, happy feel and is so beautiful. We spent our time just strolling and absorbing the city, saw ancient ruins, an ongoing archaeological dig, fabulous views and spent some time just watching the world go by while having a delicious lunch at a very reasonable price. Oh, and quite a bit of shopping too! It’s slightly more expensive than just getting the local bus, but for the hotel pickup it’s well worth it, not least because of the helpful and informative guide, Anastasia. She gave us lots of background on the way, which really added to the day.

Beautiful town! - We had a great guide on the bus ride and the driver was excellent. The town of Chania is just beautiful and the time spent there was just right to explore, shop and grab lunch!

This was an excellent trip, - Picked up at our hotel The White Palace - on time. Really super friendly driver and courier. Very efficient with all the pick ups and support throughout our trip. Our driver was amazing negotiating the narrow streets and we felt totally safe in his hands! Total support at Chania re times and information. Wonderful experience - We were enchanted by the beauty of both Falasarna beach and Chania city. I have to outline that the trip was very pleasant ☺. The Markidis crew :) was very helpful, kind, full of positive energy 🙌. I would definitely recommend !!!! In the following days we plan to visit Gramvousa-Balos and Elafonissi beach 🥰. Great - Except for the beautiful views that I had the pleasure of witnessing, the Markidis crew made my trip so much better … they were friendly, helpful, always giving information! The driver - Kostas, made the trip smoothly and the guide was always willing to help with information !! Recommend

Great day out - Would highly recommend booking a trip with this company as there is a maximum of 20 people on the minibus so there is a more personal feel to the whole experience. From the moment you first get on the bus you are warmly greeted by the guide (which in our case was Christos) until the moment you got dropped back off you were well looked after and very well informed of what to expect from the day. The bus Is air conditioned and our driver (Costas) ensured a safe journey throughout. On the way to our destination Christos would tell us facts about where we were going and also about the island itself. Even throughout the trip Christos and Costas would mingle with all the passengers making sure everything was ok and if anything was needed. All in all a very enjoyable experience being looked after by 2 great guys and would highly recommend booking with this company .

Mr and Mrs New - Words cannot express how professional the guys at Makridis travel are.On the first day we went to Elafonisi trip and had Costas as the driver and Christos as the guide.They made sure that every person on that van was comfortable,constantly questioning people if they needed anything.Christos made sure that we had the whole knowledge of every place we visited.From the second day on we had Christos as the guide and Stavro,(the futures pilot)as the driver.On the last day my husband left his flip flops in the van,the boys made sure to hand them in the following morning.I have to congratulate all three of you on your professionalism.If anybody ever thinks of doing the beaches,gauges etc excursions i would realy advise you to book with Makridis travels in Rhethymno.You will not regret it.Big massive thank you Costas,Christos and Stavros for your kindness and until one day maybe.

Very hospitable - We were staying in the hotel across the road for this tour operator and decided to check what tours they had. Kostas the driver’s wife also runs the shop. When we went into the shop he was very friendly and informative on all tours so we So we decided to book 2 tours one was the day trip to Chania which was very good the other was the Jeep safari and both did not let us down very good tours. Every time we left our hotel they would call over the road good morning and some evenings when kostas arrived back from tours he would jump out of the mini bus and come over to us to find out how our day had been, really good hospitality and no pressure to spend money with them they just want you to enjoy your holiday on the island of Crete
