Highlights
- Mae Taeng - Pick up from hotel in Chiang Mai city between 08.00 - 08.30am and drop off about 06.30pm.
If you book Half Day options there are no Trekking or Rafting
- Depart from hotel and drive thought rural area and forest hill
- Learn about Elephants behaviours in natural surroundings. NO RIDING!!
- Learn how to prepare foods for elephants
- Observing our beautiful rescued elephants as they roam throughout our sanctuary
- Observing the elephants in mud spa, which help their skin and protect from insects
- Observing when they are bathe at river in a natural way, as they would in the wild
- Enjoy lunch (Thai foods)
- White Water Rafting through the rain forest about 50 minutes
- Trekking for 2 hours (1 hour go, 1 hour back) through jungle & beautiful waterfall
- Back to Chiang Mai City (about 06.30pm)
What to bring; Towel, Bathing Suit, Walking Shoes, Change of Clothes
We don’t use chains, hooks or any other cruelty tactics like that because our elephant family are allowed to roam free.

A must-do for anyone travelling to Thailand - Absolutely amazing experience and value for money. Pick up and drop off included, we prepared food for the elephants, fed them, hiked to a beautiful waterfall and did white water rafting. The whole experience was amazing, never a dull moment. Even the Pad Thai for lunch was amazing and also included in the price. Our guide was so knowledgeable and lovely, if you’re thinking of booking then definitely go for it!

Nice day! - Pleasant day consisting of a walk (with a stop at a waterfall), a visit to an elephant sanctuary and followed by a bit of rafting. The guide was very friendly and enthusiastic, but could not always make himself understood in English. While rafting we also had a guide to guide us through the rock formations. The supervisor was an absolute winner! We had a lot of fun on this day!
P.S. we love the "attack mode".

Fun in the Nature. - Feeding the Elephants, the rafting, atv fun. Everything was super. The tour guide was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing visit 🥰 - I recommend this excursion. The elephants are well treated and are not chained. It was a very nice experience (no backpacking😁) the hike was simple and accessible. Rafting a little too cool for our children (17 and 21 years old) but the joy of the locals made our day 😆😂
Excursion in a small group, it is very enjoyable and the accompanying people are very pleasant.

Awesome - Wonderful day! The tour guide Sak was incredible. Shared lots of information about elephants and the jungle life.
All the trips were so well organized. Highly if it’s recommend this trip.

Great Day Out - Fantastic Retreat Elephants looked after very well. Don’t miss this one. Feeding, washing them in the river and then covering them in mud great fun

Excellent tour with a lot of fun! - Excellent tour with so much fun. I highly recommended. The waterfalls is wonderful experience, but if you not physically fit, it may not be a good idea.

Recommended - Very good tour. Very complete and dynamic. Everything was on time and on schedule and the activities were very fun and we were able to do various things with the elephants

Worth a try! - I booked the half day tour simply because I just wanted to experience seeing the elephants up close. I rated it a 4 because I did enjoy the opportunity to feed the elephants and be surrounded by nature. However, our tour guide spoke little English so there wasn't much connection with him. Regardless, he tried his best to entertain and get everyone included.
P.s. the lunch is just pad thai and fruits!
