Excellent trip fro. Chang Mai - Guide and driver were great. The trip was well organised. The only thing I would say is if you have any mobility issues or are nit used to a 2 hour walk on uneven and leaf covered paths the trip isn't for you. You wi need trainers with a good grip. Fantastic day out .

Great trip and great guide - The day trip was wonderful. There was enough time at each destination and you didn't have to stress. You also see a lot during the tour. The guide was great and shared a lot of information and input with us.

On your own - and still super great - On our trip to Doi Inthanon National Park we also walked the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail. At the entrance to the trail we had to pay 50Thb - then we set off with a guide - about 3km / 1.5 hours. There was a lot to see along the way - and the guide explained a lot to us. The path was quite steep in places but easy to manage even in sneakers. From the greenhouses to forest reforestation to the spectacular waterfalls, the terraced rice fields - the water supply through canals and coffee cultivation, there was a lot to see here. And there were endless opportunities for pictures. At the end there was a free coffee from our own cultivation - of course with the option to buy it too.

Unreal - I didn’t take the tour, I did it myself. This nature trail was spectacular and the best up close waterfall and rice paddies I’ve seen in Thailand. The tribal village at the end has been there since the 1800s and wonderful to see and sample their traditional tea and coffee. The guide is worth it, although little English, he saw 2 snakes and 3 spiders I never would have! Cash only 220THB entry with guide and 10 minute 50THB pick-up truck ride back to the start at the end - amazing experience. The peak was a 25 minute drive from the trail and absolutely mesmerising due to the top being shrouded in cloud. It truly was a cloud forest up there a other worldly and at 8,000+FT, an incredible experience!

Beautiful hike, beautiful nature - It was very nice, our guide was very personable and nice. The hike was very easy, just downhill, so it wasn't too strenuous. We would have preferred a "real" hike. Karen Village is very nice, but you are only there for a short time and not much is explained to you, you can only try one type of coffee and different teas. Lunch was good, with some vegetarian options. On the bus, we were asked beforehand whether anyone was vegetarian. As with many trips like this, the individual stops are always very short and we move on quickly. Overall, though, it was a nice trip.

Good for slow, elderly people - If we had known we would spend 5 hours in the van, we would never have joined this trip. This trip is ok for elderly people. If you look for dynamics and adventure, don’t do it. The hike was a slow stroll, a few meters behind another group. The guide was a sweet man, no complaints about him. But I feel misguided by the description of this tour.
