As a historian with a penchant for ancient architecture, the allure of Chanderi’s historic monuments was irresistible. Nestled in the heart of India, this town is a treasure trove of history, offering a glimpse into the past with its 11th-century structures. My journey began in Orchha, where a personal chauffeur whisked us away on a scenic three-hour drive to Chanderi.
