Really enjoyed our three days at Disneyland - We had three magical days here! It was all amazing I don't know where to start! The rides were so fun and amazing, nothing was too much of a queue. The food was great, a good selection for vegetarians as well. Everything was good staff were nice and the only thing that could be improved is more water fountains. Other than this we had a perfect time!

Disney dreams of a lifetime - Amazing family trip with younger kids and older family never have been. Myself and my brother relived memories from 20+ years ago. Kids had a ball from experiencing rides, mickey mouse shaped foods and treats, and then the parades and getting waves and kisses from the characters. It was a fabulous weekend had by all and despite the rain where we didn't catch the shows at the end of the night or get to see all the parks, it was a brilliant experience. Kids already want to go back and see what we didn't

Amazing place but queuing a real problem - Okay so this is a really difficult review to write because we had the BEST time but there are quite a few issues. I’ll start by saying the queues are unacceptable. We had an amazing time but only because we paid for fast passes but had we not, I think I would have left feeling a lot differently. On our first day we paid for the premier access day pass - now this is my fault for not reading properly what was included but this pass only gives you access to ride once per ride on the list. I felt like this seemed ridiculous at a cost of €360 a day for 2 adults and a 4 year old. Especially as our 4 year old couldn’t even ride some of them on the list due to height. The second day we paid per ride which was a lot better value for money and I wish we had done this the first day - we will do this again in the future. However, I still feel like it shouldn’t have to be like this. The queue time for most rides without the fast pass was around 60 minutes. Don’t even get me started on the princess meet and greet - 100 minutes at all times during our trip. I personally feel like this is really bad. Most little girls that come to Disney would love to meet the princesses but 100 minutes is just too long for them to be stood waiting for a meet and greet. However, with the fast passes we had a really good time, the queues were minimal and the rides are amazing - I just think for amount people spend coming to Disney, it shouldn’t have to be like this and we were fortunate that we could do this. We did the character breakfast which was a nice experience but I don’t feel like the characters were great, especially for the cost. There were around 6 characters in total and 2 or 3 that we’d never really seen before or heard of. Food at the breakfast was okay but really you’re paying for the character experience. As I say, the actual rides were fab. A favourite of ours was the ratatouille ride - absolutely amazing experience. Staff were friendly. On site food and beverages were good quality. We loved the Italian that serves the Mickey pizzas. I felt like the deals were worth the money. The shops were great too! We absolutely loved the parades. It gets busy so be sure to get there around 10 mins before to try and get a space. We hired a pram which was €25 for the day! With the amount of walking, we couldn’t have really done it without one for our 4 year old who hasn’t been in a pram in years. Overall, we will definitely go back but my recommendation would be to anyone visiting, spend less time at Disney and use the saved money towards fast passes!

Great park, BUT, bring your own FOOD!! - The park was lots of fun, and a great family experience. Pay careful attention to the queue waiting times and don’t be afraid to circle back to anything over 40 minutes! As a family we squeezed in many rides and had a great experience. We enjoyed watching the street parades and shows. The food experience though, left a huge gap in expectations. Availability was very poor with huge queues and ridiculous booking times! Either you need plan things the day before, or book early. But with variable ride waiting times this is not practical. Then the selection on menus is pretty bleak at best. The quality is very poor! I genuinely have to express serious disappointment at the food quality. Cold, bland, overpriced and a shame really when you factor in the price of entry. We become a captive market once inside. We were careful to bring our own lunch for days two and three but stayed late so looked for dinner options. Very disappointing indeed. A shame or a blot on Disneyland for that aspect. It needs saying and it needs an internal review. As an ex-hotelier I know it takes little effort to improve those standards!

Excellent Rides but very busy and didn't feel the Disney Magic - End of the day it feels like most theme parks - lots of rides and lots of queues! The "Disney" magic isn't quite there for me. Not enough character encounters or guest relations to make visitors feel totally welcome but it's so busy maybe that's just unrealistic. Rides really good but queues horrendous for many, need fast pass and to get the extra hour Disney hotel guests have. It is all stunningly presented, Thunder Mountain, Tower of Terror stand out and both parks are very clean. We had a good time - there's loads to do but I'm glad I didn't have a daughter mad keen on princesses as a 2-3 hour wait for that is just wrong given the age group it's aimed at.

Queues / overcrowding - shameful to make children queue for extended periods - Disneyland Paris has been on our bucket list for a while - we have a 9 year old and 6 year old. We stayed the Disneyland Hotel for three nights. Thoughts from our trip 1. Our kids loved it, the rides, the parade, the night time light show - they lapped it all up and had a ball. Parent perspective: Disney sell the fantasy land experience and a happy world full with characters however they will let as many people into that park as they can to a point where it’s violently unfair to children. It is massively overcrowded, it’s such a shame. Queue for Mickey Mouse picture - 160mins queue time Picture with a Disney Princess - 120-160min queue time All the main rides - eg Crushers Coaster, thunder mountain etc - 90 min queue time For a place like Disney to have children wait that long is purely just wrong and shameful. Young children waiting in line shouldn’t be part of the Disney Experience. We were in position where we decided not to queue and just buy the Premier Access tickets. They are not cheap for the bigger rides but you skip the queue. Costs a lot more to do it - capitalism at its finest. We had the ‘magic pass’ to get in early before the Park opened and we still had to queue for an hour for Crushers Coaster (even at that early hour before the general public had access to the Park/Studios). So it was pretty useless. We stayed at Disneyland Hotel - great location, lovely room, great pool, Disney characters meet and greet for kids at every meal. We did half board. Went for an extra meal one at (buffet at Royal Banquet and paid - >€320 for two adults and two children) - for a self service buffet! The light show at the end of the night is amazing and we loved that. The Parade is great fun. Thunder Mountain broke down mid ride - which was scary experience. Staff had to get to us and release us from the ride and walk us through the bowels of the ride (not a nice place to be) - got a free pass to go back in when they fixed it but lost our trust in the ride and the safety of it so we didn’t use it. Staff in general are very helpful and friendly. Don’t do the slinky ride in Studios - only very small children and it literally goes around 4 times - waste of time. The lion king show was brilliant. Worth buying tickets for the shows - they are good. But be sure to ‘queue’ 30mins before show. Yes - more queuing!! We had tickets for 12.15pm show so we just arrived at that time as we had tickets so didn’t think we’d have to queue. Wrong!! They love a queue at this place so we weren’t allowed into the show and had to wait for the next show and guess what - we were told to gain access we would have to queue. If you love queues you will love Disneyland Paris. They love to make all guest queue a it’s their thing!! For our kids we had to embrace it and just get on with it. But if you want to do it proper you’ll have to pay extra money to avoid queuing. I never want to see a queue again!!!

First and only time we’ll visit DLP - We took the train route to DLP and back and what a slog that was, particularly on the way back with the Eurostar passport control system having a failure, horrendous passport control queues, being herded around like cattle where customer experience was none existent and delays, delays and more delays. In fairness we swiftly received some compensation from Eurostar but that doesn’t make up for the miserable experience and missing of connections and I can no longer bear to hear the phrase ‘we apologise for the inconvenience’, these are hollow words for PR purposes. To DLP, we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge and first impressions of the reception area were ok but heading towards your room you quickly start to see how dated the hotel is. Our room was a throwback to the 90’s in decor and looked very tired. We had a multiple extension cable with us which was useful as there was minimal power sockets and no sign of USB ports for powering multiple devices. The kids were able to access the wi-Fi though which was useful. The toilet and sink facilities reminded me of hostels I’ve previously stayed in, very dated. We’d opted for the food plans which weren’t cheap and ate in both restaurants but as others have said the food wasn’t great. Breakfast queues were huge even when you think you’re getting there early and there was a language barrier on several occasions where an English speaking colleague had to be asked over to translate. We made use of the swimming pool which was cold to begin with but ok once you acclimatised and stopped shivering. It was funny watching people enter the pool the same way we did, expecting warm tropical waters only to see teeth chattering lol. On a positive the kids did enjoy the slide. Now to DLP, I’d read reviews so was prepared….or so I thought. The park in my opinion is vastly over capacity, the volume of people at times is overwhelming it’s just like a sea of people and was quite uncomfortable for my young family. The first day we decided to go back to our rooms for a break as it was too much for them. It took us the best part of the 3 days we had to experience the majority of rides we wanted to and we just couldn’t face the 2-3 hour waiting times of one of the most popular rides so gave it a miss. The queuing times are the worst I have ever experienced and I used to moan at the UK theme parks but never again after this, you definitely have to plan smart and I just can’t see without spending on premium passes how it’s possible to achieve many of the rides in a single day, as others have said you spend 6-8+ hours queuing. If however you’re interested in expensive fast food, snacks and merchandising which have the shortest queuing times and are readily available then this is the place for you. From this review you may be thinking did we enjoy it? The reality is that as a family we made the most of a disappointing visit and did make happy memories which is what we set out to do HOWEVER be prepared to queue like never before, to spend a small fortune, to potentially not get on all the rides, to finding innovative ways of entertaining your children and feeling like your money would have been better spent elsewhere. I think it says it all when your 11 year old before we’d even left DLP says that they wouldn’t want to come back. Sorry Disney but there is very little magic here.

Waiting to ride, to eat, to everything - Family (2 kids). Waiting 45 to 180 min for rides is just crazy. Restaurants very bad organized, poor food. It was a waste of money and time. If you don’t have PREMIUN TICKETS don’t go. Very very low value for money.

More magic! - Where to start ? the incessant breakdowns of attractions? the endless queues? or the visible fed up of employees? In short, we were a family of 5 and only the 5 year old found it "nice". It's not up to par with an amusement park at this price. Not to mention the very expensive and barely edible restaurant food. I will never come back

Commerce, queues, commerce and more people - Yes, it is a magical world that has been created here and what is offered here is great. However: as a family of four, we paid around 700 euros for a two-day ticket for both parks. I didn't see the point in paying another 90 euros per person per day for priority access. The result: you spend a lot of your life queuing (the longest stated waiting time was 210 minutes) - for an attraction that only lasts a few minutes. This caused a lot of frustration in our family and ultimately radio silence. The expensive experience was ruined. Sure, it's a must-see, but I definitely wouldn't waste my money and time on it again. Between the wasted time and the short attractions, you still have plenty of opportunity to waste even more money in the merchandise stores or the overpriced restaurants. It's a shame that so many people have Disneyland on their bucket list and that source of money won't dry up any time soon.
