otavalo city - Otavalo is a beautiful city, the people are friendly, fun and creative. The famous places are Plaza de Ponchos, Casada de Peguche, Bolivar Park, Iglesia San Fa¡ransisco. They are fantastic because the crafts are amazing. the fried food, empanadas, hornado, onions, cloclo with cheese, are delicious.

Nothing spectacular - Nice town with several shops and the market. Same items could be bought elsewhere in Pichincha, similar pricing.

scary, unsupported - the communication with the operator was very bad, I came to pick me up at the scheduled time, but twenty minutes after leaving the hotel, the car was stopped by the Ecuadorian police. The police told us that it was a car without authorization for tourist activities and that it would arrest the driver and take us down on the highway. Fortunately we took a taxi and returned to the hotel. I have tried to request a refund and there is no way to do it on the viator page. I have felt without support. This was a really terrifying experience.
