Easter surf camp - My son had a brilliant 4 days of surf lessons .. really enjoyed and made brilliant progress.. really positive instructors and great fun all round!

Easter Family Surf - Class family day out! Lots of craic in the waves on the beautiful North Coast with really helpful and supportive instruction from Ricky. Highly recommended!

Fantastic surf lesson - Our Alive Adventures surf lesson was outstanding! There was 4 of us, ages 13, 18, 24 and 55 (me!) on a lesson with Ricky! He was an excellent instructor! I had thought it would be a long preamble on the beach but we were in the water after about 10 mins instruction on how to lie on the board on the waves. Water was not cold! Having tried that for while we were back on the beach for another 10 mins being shown how to get to stand on the board and then back in the water. Ricky was in the water the whole time, helping and advising as we progressed through the lesson. There was no time that I felt concerned or in any danger; Ricky was great at keeping an eye on us all! He worked brilliantly with all ages. I had thought it was going to be good but I was wrong; it was fantastic! I had also thought we would be lucky to get up on one knee, but everyone had stood on the boards a number of times by the end! Everyone was laughing and smiling the whole time. All thought it much better than expected. "The best 2 hours of my life!" (18 yr old), "10 times better than I expected" (25 year old). If you are thinking of trying it, go for it! And if do then go for Alive Adventures!! Thanks Ricky!

Awesome! - The crew was great! We did a little warmup and then practiced on the beach to start. Once in the water the instructors were super helpful in giving tips and helping you start with waves. I was able to catch a few waves standing up which was such a fun experience!

Extremely happy with the surf and e-bike experience. I can only highly recommend it ! - In Alive adventures, you will find without any doubt the nicest yet most professional surf instructors of Northern Ireland. I can only recommend them to anyone who is looking for an amazing surf experience in portrush, or to discover the area with their cutting edge e-bikes. Not only they give great surf lessons (I drastically improved my form and timing) but their equipment is so good I couldn’t feel the cold of Northern Ireland when I was in the freezing water! I was In london on a Wednesday and called Ricky (didnt know him at the time) to take surfing lessons. He was so nice he organised everything on such a short notice, all I had to do was book a flight and enjoy. Ricky is a great example of how a surfer should be. He taught me a lot and I like to think of him not only as a surf instructor but as a friend. I will definitely go back to see Ricky and surf in portrush with Alive Adventures. I am already looking forward to it!

Top surfing experience - Brilliant surf experience with Ricky at Alive Adventures in Portrush. Have had a few surfing lessons in the past, but this was one of the best. Helped my 17-year-old son improve his technique, while fixing many of the things that I was doing wrong! Excellent wet suits and kit too that really made the difference in cold November conditions. Will definitely be booking Alive Adventures again for the next time we are back in Portrush.

Five star experience - Took up bodyboarding a year ago and wanted to unlearn bad habits and learn some technique. It was really informal and fun and yet I came away with so much learning. Ricky is a fantastic instructor. Portrush is a gorgeous spot too! Cannot recommend Alive Adventurers highly enough.

Perfect & fun surfing school - Thank you Sanders for two exciting surf lessons for our son Maddox. He loved it & says it was the highlight of his holiday in Portrush. Sanders is chilled, patient, fun, brilliant surfing teacher & always in a happy mood.

Private surf lesson - Ricky was a great instructor for our surf lesson, made us feel very at ease and was really encouraging! It was a fun and relaxed lesson with lots of feedback on how to improve. Would 10/10 recommend!!
