• Natal Lion Park - Guests will be picked up at 6:00 am to begin the tour. The Natal Lion Park is home to lions, African and Asian elephants, as well as zebras and nyalas. Visitors can get up close to the majestic lions by entering their enclosure, while keeping vehicle windows and doors securely closed. This popular activity offers tourists a unique chance to experience the thrill of being near lions, leaving them in awe of their size and beauty. Additionally, a variety of bird species can be observed. The tour continues with a visit to the elephants, where guests can allow the elephants to touch them with their trunks. From Natal Lion Park, the tour proceeds to Tala Game Reserve.

• Tala Private Game Reserve - Tala Private Game Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary covering over 3,000 hectares, featuring diverse natural environments. The reserve is home to over 380 bird species and big game, including rhinos, buffaloes, kudus, hippos, giraffes, and elands. Nestled in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal, the reserve is rich in game, bird, and plant life. Visitors can get close to the tiny mongoose or the largest antelope in southern Africa, the eland. Tala boasts around 20 species of antelope, including special breeds like the oribi, bushbuck, and reedbuck, with abundant other game. Children aged four and above are welcome on game drives at Tala.

• Phezulu Safari Park - The final stop is the ‘Valley of 1000 Hills’ to experience traditional Zulu culture at PheZulu Cultural Village (optional extra). Visitors are taken into a traditional Zulu homestead to experience life as it was in the 1800s. Inside, thatched huts are arranged in a circle, with cattle in the center for protection. At PheZulu’s ‘Sibaya’ or homestead, the thatched huts surround the auditorium, facing the beautiful ‘Valley of 1000 Hills’. Tourists enter traditional beehive-shaped thatched huts, where various artifacts, beliefs, and rituals are explained, providing insight into the fascinating Zulu culture. The Zulu dancing show is impressive, with dancers in traditional attire showcasing their skills with grace, agility, and humor – a truly unforgettable experience.
