Together we will go to the discovery of Catania, a city teeming with life and full of sounds, colors and smells, eager to discover itself in the prying gaze of the curious traveler.
Let’s start right from the DUOMO, Norman in origin and baroque in appearance, an imposing building that in a few decades celebrates its first thousand years of history. On this same square there is also Palazzo degli Elefanti, our Town Hall, and the fountain with the symbol of the city, the liotru, an elephant in lava stone surmounted by an obelisk.
If you have chosen the morning walking tour we will certainly not miss the adjacent historic fish market, where not only the freshest fish is exhibited, but you will find typical cold cuts and cheeses of the region, as well as fruit at literally bargain prices.

Great Catania walking tour - My friend and I took this 2 hour walking tour of Catania. It was absolutely great. The tour Guide spoke very clearly and gave us just the right amount of information. We saw the main sights in the inner part of the town. Can highly recommend it to any first time visitor of Catania. We then took the Hop on and hop off tour. It was a perfect combination.

Informative and interesting - Our guide Esther was very knowledgeable and our tour was very informative and interesting. Based around the central landmarks of Catania we were told of the history of the city up to current times and the impact of Etna on the city and its surrounds. Highly recommended! Thank you Esther!

A real lunch in Catania - We tasted several dishes and in our experience we have rarely tasted something so delicate and balanced.
Each dish was expertly designed to satisfy the palate and the eye.

Great history lecture on Catania easily understandable - Our guide was very experienced and professional. Her English wad great and her rich knowledge im architecture made the tour so exciting! We highly recommend the tour. My 10 year old boy also enjoyed the tour very much!

Love for Catania - Tiziana was excellent. Without being lectured, with a colloquial style she conveyed to us her love for her land. You can't pass through Catania without taking a tour of the city accompanied by her

History and essence of Catania - Relaxed and informative walking tour to get the history and essence of old Catania and its relationship with Mt Etna. Our guide gave us insight to the key central buildings, the history of the city before and after the earthquake and major eruption and a stroll by the dynamic fish market.

Magical Catania - Catania is wonderful but the experience lived with the Guide Ivan Nicosia made it superlative. Ivan immediately put us at ease and began to tell us the thousand-year history of Sicily in 15 minutes. Then the real tour began which allowed us to get to know at least in broad terms the devotion of the people of Catania for the Patron Saint. He told us the story related to Lu Liotru. He then guided us through the most beautiful monuments of the city. His profound historical knowledge combined with his passion for the transmission of knowledge, at all levels (even cinematic references as a true connoisseur), and his evident love for Catania and more generally for Sicily, enchanted us for the entire duration of the visit. Unrivaled and difficult to reach.

1 star review - Turned up on time didn’t see the group of 40! People… We waited for 15 mins no contact or phone call.. So didn’t go on the tour… Asked for a refund and refused… So understandable I have to leave a 1 star rating as we were there on time no contact was received to ask where we were and now refusing to give me a refund… Sorry not a good experience
