- Ulysses’ Caves offers the perfect spot for your day’s first swim. These natural formations adorn a stunning lava cliff that hovers above the ocean. The scenic underwater landscapes showcase a beautiful array of hues ranging from deep blue and green to light blue.
- Next, we’ll visit a Medieval castle by the sea. The castle is strategically located on a seaside rocky outcrop. The Normans constructed it in 1076 on a 7th-century Byzantine fort’s remnants. Post the volcanic eruption of Mount Etna in 1169, Aci Castello underwent major expansion as the nearby towns became inhabitable.
- Finally, we move towards the Cyclops Islands inside the Cyclops’ Natural Reserve.

Additional Information
Enjoy a private 6-hour sailing journey (from 10am to 4pm), where the boat is exclusively booked for you and your party. We’ll tour the Gulf of Catania, see Etna and Catania from the sea, sail along the Cyclop’s Coast, and take a swim near Ulisse’s Grotto. When it’s time for lunch, we will first pass by the medieval Aci Castello Castle before anchoring near the Faraglioni Rocks, close to the ‘Isole dei Ciclopi’ nature reserve. Here, you can choose to dive or snorkel using rented gear (an additional option), or simply enjoy swimming around the clear waters near the sailboat. Meanwhile, our sailor chef will prepare a delicious Sicilian feast for you to savour onboard. Lastly, we will sail back towards Catania port, sharing some essential sailing knowledge along the way, or carry on with our boat party, depending on your preference.

- Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required

Incredible private boat tour in Catania - We had an amazing time! Giulia and Benjamin were wonderful. Benjamin taught me a little bit about sailing and Giulia prepared a delicious lunch and snacks as well as some prosseco! The views of Catania and the Etna were stunning. Would definitely recommend.

Not to be missed - I work on boats and I said I'm going on a sailing trip, what can I say I didn't think I'd feel so good, at ease as if I were family, friendly and professional and even though I'm fussy about eating I ate very well thanks guys

An unforgettable day on a boat - The experience is unique. Ivan is very nice and very good at the helm, he and the staff made us experience a day full of relaxing and carefree sailing. They also listened to all our requests, including the request to take a swim in the afternoon in front of the sea stacks. A tour with them is a guarantee we will definitely return

Most amazing experience on the island! - We've had an amazing time with Ivan an Ianira in our first sailing experience!
We were a group of 6 and went for the private tour. We boarded the boat around noon, and we were immediately introduced with Ivan who's not only a great sailor, but a very funny and nice human being. Ianira, our hostess, kept us entertained with her contagious smile and laughter.
We arrived at the ISole dei Ciclopi where some of us took a dive. If you're not a professional swimmer like me, I still encourage you to do it, but using the lifebuoy. Ivan reassured me is be safe and indeed it was.
On our way back, Ianira prepped some appetizers and served us Prosecco at discretion.
We will most definitely sail with them again if we're coming back to Sicily. 1000% recommend the tour. And Ivan and Ianira.🤍

Cool! - Amazing sailing tour, very beautiful and spacious boat, definitely an unforgettable day for me and my friends. What about the crew? Benjamin and Carlo were welcoming, professional and friendly, we couldn't ask for anything better. The aperitif and lunch on the boat were also super. Thanks also to Ivan for welcoming us at boarding, an absolutely recommended experience to do again and which I would highly recommend! 10 and praise!

The Best experience un Catania - This experience was above and beyond of what we could have expected. ben and Giulia, our crew, made our time worthwhile, the sailing was amazing, the boat beautiful, the food delicious and overall the best time we Gad in out trip to Catania. This is a MUST DO experience and hopefully you are lucky enough to be with Ben and Giulia. Amazing amazing amazing!
