- Mount Etna - visit the slopes of Mount Etna to experience the lava fields and the incredible landscape view from Europe s highest and most active volcano, in June 2013 was declared UNESCO Heritage. The Etna Volcano is one of Sicily s main tourist attractions, with thousands of visitors every year. The most common route is through the road leading to Sapienza Refuge, lying at the south of the crater at elevation of 1910 m. It hosts a large parking, several bars, a hotel, and is a starting point for the cable car. From the Refuge, a cableway runs uphill to the elevation of 2500 m; from there, visitors can take a drive with special terrain vehicles, or take a long walk to the designated crater area at 2920 m.

Additionally, the tour does not provide a certified guide service. There will only be a driver available who will offer fundamental information about each of the sites on the tour schedule in English.

Only for better weather - Driver was fine

A must activity! - Great activity. The journey is long from.Palermo to Etna and Taormina but worth the effort.

Fabulous full day out - Our driver Dario was very helpful and polite. He assisted on our day making it flow very smoothly. Helping us with entrance tickets saving us time. He was a safe driver with a fabulous music playlist and he could sing!!!!
The trip is worthwhile even though you have to travel 3 hours each way.
Taormina is stunningly beautiful with plenty to see eat and drink. Oh and nice shops!!!!

Great Tour Guide and Destinations - Dario, the driver and tour guide, was great! The conversations were fun and informative. Dario made excellent restaurant and site recommendations once we arrived at our destinations. The vehicle was in excellent condition, air conditioned and very comfortable all the way through the tour. Highly recommended!

Excellent! - Dario was a great driver and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour! The drive to Mount Etna was just over 3 hours from Termini but we stopped half way for pit stop. Taormina was beautiful but not enough time spent there so we will go back.

Amazing tour with spectacular scenery and driver - This tour was amazing ! Our driver was Dario and he was absolutely expectional! He gave us ideas and suggestions of what to do and see, had great taste in music and generally just a great driver. We spent an hour at Mt Etna and 3 hours in Taormina. I would highly recommended this your! And if your lucky enough to get Dario as your driver you have hit the jackpot !!

Dario is the best - Dario was wonderful. We had a great time on this tour. He was on time picking us up and made the entire experience pleasant. He was fun to talk with and very informative about everything we were seeing and doing. We did the cable car and bus tour of Mt Etna at his suggestion and loved it. We then hopped back in the car with him which was still a pleasure and headed over to Taormina, which was truly a great place to visit. Particularly loved the Teatro ruins and the local restaurants. Trip was definitely worth the money, and we could’nt have asked for a better driver than Dario. He was the best, I feel as though we’d be good friends if I lived in Sicily. Again, highly recommend

Taormina and mount Etna - It was good tour the reason I gave 4 star it was very short time in Taormina for that long of a drive. Mount etna was wonderful experience must see. Our driver Dario was well dressed ,very polite and kind, extremely respectful wonder tour guide.

Not Happy ! - This trip was not what I expected the driver who was Daniel was not very friendly or informative. He didn’t even take us to Cefalu he skipped it . I found out later from another driver he took a long way to Mt. Etna , that’s why he didn’t take us to Cefalu . I was very disappointed ☹️

Don’t book this tour. Unreliable. Extremely poor service - Don’t book this tour. The operator failed to show for pick up and then after an hour of trying to get in contact with them, they cancelled our tour. Because of them we missed seeing Mt Etna etc.
Don’t trust this operator. Worst service!
