Catania walking tour - Grazie was great. She had so much knowledge to share regarding Catania. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Also, the weather was amazing. So much to see.

This tour was amazing! My... - This tour was amazing! My husband and I took this tour while on our honeymoon to learn more about the city. Fahad, our tour guide, was the best - he was knowledgeable and passionate about Catania.

Fantastic experience as a solo female traveler - My tour guide was Fahadul and he was fantastic! I did a 3 hour walking tour and got to see lots of highlights of Catania and he was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. Super nice guy. I will note that I was a solo female traveller and immediately felt safe and at ease with Fahadul. Great tour and wonderful experience.

Excellent tour with Kate! - We can’t thank Kate enough for an excellent, customized 3 hour tour of Catania. We gave a short description of our interests and she put together an information packed day, full of interesting sites, delicious street food, and some dark history. We feel we also got to see some pretty non-touristy areas, which is refreshing. Highly recommend!

Stride by stride - My custom walking tour with Paola was lovely. She communicated ahead of time which I greatly appreciated. The walking tour was curated for my specific needs and interests. The pace of the tour was nice...not too fast/slow (3 hours). The sights, sounds, and food offerings were fantastic. Seeing Catania by foot is a great way to acclimate yourself to the area/surroundings...highly recommend this tour.

Catania across the ages - We had the great pleasure of a four hour walking tour around Catania to develop a better understanding of the city and its rich history with our guide Concetta. Her smiling face greeted us right on time and we headed out on a historical deep dive through the ages. She did a marvelous job of tracing the changes across Greek, Roman, medieval and modern times. She was extremely well prepared and organized. Her passion for the city and its history was fully evident. We were grateful for her additional suggested activities.

Wonderful tour of Catania!!!! - Fahad our tour guide was magnificent! Very knowledgeable and kind. We had a great walking tour . He was explained everything with details. Thank you, we had a wonderful time!!!!!

Catania and cannelloni - Tania is a great tour guide. very knowledgeable about her country and city. We enjoyed seeing her beautiful city. Tania also took us to a fabulous pastecherie to taste some canelloni...delicious.

Tour or the description needs tweaking - Paola was very kind and accommodating during our tour. She asked me ahead of time some things we wanted to see and do on the tour to customize our experience. However the day of the tour was more like a guided escort rather than a tour. There was not a lot of narration to the sights we were seeing and it just felt like a walk around the city with a local. I would have preferred more narration and history about Catania and the sights.

Expensive and very poor “tour” - This tour was a waste of money. The tour advertised they would send us an itinerary of the day that we can look at and adjust based on the types of things we like to see. We never received it. I brought it up again a few days before the tour and the guide said we would figure it out when we meet up. The guide showed up late then proceeded to ask us what we want to see…we don’t know we aren’t from here that’s why we booked the tour. So she ended up aimlessly walking around the city with no real route or plan. We walked right by a Roman theatre we later went back and visited and it was only mentioned to us well after we passed it and couldn’t go back. We went back another day and it was amazing. We spent 4 hours just walking down the streets which we had already done. We asked questions about key Catania history such as the significance of the elephant and the response we got was “i don’t know I think maybe because they once saw elephants here” so we googled the correct answer. I then brought this all up with Viator and they are un willing to support a refund because there were no discrepancies. They didn’t send the itinerary to plan the tour, that’s a pretty big discrepancy if you ask me. And the tour guide was not local she is only been in Catania a few years and is looking to move back north anyway so she didn’t know anything about the city. She often just walked really slow in the middle of our group with no direction I had to ask multiple times what direction to go and she would keep saying what do you want to see. Again idk I’m not from here I don’t know what’s around. We got more city facts and history of Catania from our other tour guides that were taking us out of Catania in a car to different cities for the day. We even drove past some of the things we saw with the walking tour guide and without us asking our drivers told us all sorts of history about the Galvani and how it affected the structure and why it looks the way it did.
