- Colata Lavica 1992 - We will start from Catania from the point where the lava flow of 1669 stopped and we will travel backwards to its crater. We will visit the places and buildings destroyed by the flow of 1669, then we will climb the silvestri craters and we will go to see the flow of 1992 with a visit to Etna saffron tasting the honey that is produced. Finally we will go to the sea, where Etna was formed with the first submarine eruptions witnessed by the stacks of acitrezza.

Etna stands tall as Europe’s mightiest volcano and a UNESCO world heritage site widely researched. Our journey begins from the sea, where Etna made its majestic birth, and ascends up to a height of 2000m. This path will make us witness the destructive trail of the most massive eruption in the past half-millennium - the eruption of 1669. We will stroll around the craters formed in 1669 and step into a church that was discovered beneath the 1669 lava flow.

Alessandro and Sicily - incredible!!! - Alessandro was an absolutely incredible guide and driver who has now become our friend after just a couple of days in Sicily. He is professional, punctual and very knowledgeable about the sights and culture of Italy. He answers straight away on WhatsApp, and nothing is too difficult.
Alessandro organised a fantastic tour of the Gambino Winery and took us to and from the winery. The owner of the winery gave us a private tour, incredible food and wine in a beautiful setting.
Whether you need transport, tour or recommendations, you simply must use Alessandro. 5 stars, we can’t wait to come back and visit with Alessandro again.

Don't rent a car. Relax and let Alessandro drive you. You will enjoy your vacation more. - We visited Silicy in May 2019 actually. The best decision was to not rent a car, but let Alessandro drive us, in his Mercedes! The advantages are that he knows the country, can guide you, no stress, and no worrying about the car, including parking. He drove us from Siracusa to Catania, including the Roman Villa Casale !!Amazing!! And Caltagirone for ceramics. The most impressive thing was I left my very expensice Stetson hat in his car and he came back after dropping us at the hotel, to bring it me. 45 minutes out of his way! He is an incredible man and we highly recommend him.
