Amazing unique experience! - We highly recommend this hiking and nature tour by Giuseppe! He was an amazing guide, and we throughly enjoyed our hike on Mt Etna. Giuseppe was prompt in picking us up near our hotel, and we enjoyed getting to know him and learning about Sicilian towns, foods, and culture during the ride up. He was very friendly and attentive during the hike, and we enjoyed learning about the history and science of the volcanos here, as well as the wildlife and plants on the mountain. The hike was challenging in a fun way, and the views were incredibly breathtaking. We always felt safe, and are very happy we decided to book this tour with him!

Mount Etna off the beaten track from Siracusa. - Giuseppe is a very knowledgeable and affable guide. His English is excellent and he is a font of knowledge on the natural history relating to Etna. He is a careful and considerate driver also. If you want to get off the beaten track to see Etna ‘through the back door’, Guiseppe is your man! We would highly recommend him. Apparently he hosts cooking classes at his family home near Siracusa too. Something to return for. :)

Up close and personal with Etna - Unique daytrip to get up close and personal with a landscape few visitors to Italy or Sicily experience. Etna seems to get bigger the closer you get to it and feels like you've stepped onto another planet. Giuseppe was an excellent guide and provided helpful commentary throughout. Highly recommended.

What an amazing day with Giuseppe! - What an amazing day with Giuseppe! Such a lovely guy, and so knowledgeable about Sicily, and about Etna. The 5km round trek was perfect for us (ages 18, 21, 53!) and we saw so much incredible stuff. We opted for the wine tasting/vineyard lunch afterwards, which was well deserved and delicious. Couldn’t imagine a better way to have spent our final day in Sicily!

A unique experience on Mount Etna - We had a very good day with Giuseppe on Mount Etna. The hiking was about 6 km. He shared his huge knowledge with us and was always friendly and took his time to answer our questions.

Amazing!! The best hiking experience you will have! - Giuseppe was the best travel guide that we have met. One of the few hikes from Syracusa.. he looked after us so well from the moment he picked us up! He is so knowledgable of his craft and the geology and botany that surrounds the experience. Giuseppe is our 10 years new best friend.. and had him totally entertained throughout the day! We loved it! thanks you Giuseppe!!

Great day out thanks to Giuseppe - The Summit walk was inspiring and really good information about history of Mt Etna. Got to see several crater lakes. And completed with a wine, coffee and delicious treats on the mountain.

An unforgettable experience! - My daughter and I had organised our trip to Siracusa and decided to book Mt Etna walking tour with Giuseppe. We are very glad we did, Giuseppe had extensive knowledge of the area, history of Mt Etna and even great restaurant recommendations near to where we stayed. His enthusiasm and passion for what he does really shone through. The hike on Mt Etna was challenging enough and the views very much worth it! Would highly recommend booking!
