Bellissimo - So so worth it! Amazing experience to be brought into Graziella‘a home and to meet her family! We shared many laughs and were very well looked after. We made a Sicilian pesto with tagliatelle and it was delicious 😋 And of course a very tasty tiramisu!

Like spending and afternoon at your grandmothers! - So much more than I expected. We met our Guide Antonella in a Piazza just a one minute walk to the open market. As she gave us a tour of the market she bought the few items we'd be having as appetizers. I thought we'd be going to a central spot used by the tour to do the cooking but to my surprise she brought us to her home - and what a beautiful home it was. We sat for a while and sampled some homemade almond milk and shared with her a little of our travel experiences and ancestry. Then, sitting at her dining room table, she talked each of us through the process of making pasta dough. As we did this she shared some of her family history as she grew up in this beautiful apartment. While the dough sat, we moved to the kitchen where we all helped prepare the appetizers, olives, salami and an interesting mix of Pepato Cheese, scallions and olive oil. Then back to the dining room table as we learned how to make the pasta we'd be having for supper from the dough we just made. Eventually, we shared a delicious meal and couldn't wait to try our new found skills at home. I think my wife summed up the experience best when she said "it was like having an afternoon at my grandmothers house." Thank you Antonella for sharing with us your knowledge, family history and love of cooking.
