Setting Sail on Lan Ha Bay

After leaving my finance job in Seoul to backpack through Southeast Asia, I found myself drawn to the allure of Vietnam’s less-trodden paths. Biking Through Viet Hai Village

The next morning, I awoke to the breathtaking sight of the sunrise breaking through the clouds over the bay. After a hearty breakfast, we set off for a biking adventure to Viet Hai Village. Nestled in the midst of jungles and surrounded by the towering mountains of Cat Ba National Park, the village offered a glimpse into the traditional way of life. The 5 km ride was invigorating, and the lush greenery provided a refreshing contrast to the blue waters of the bay.

Returning to the boat, we had time for a quick shower before enjoying a final meal on board. As we disembarked at Ben Beo Harbor, I felt a sense of fulfillment and gratitude for the experiences shared with my fellow travelers.
